AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $2,416,282,558 firm-fixed-price contract modification which definitizes the lot 2 long lead procurement and procures thirteen low rate initial production (Lot 2) F-22 aircraft and associated equipment. At this time, $1,821,678,567 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete October 2004. The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (30%), Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Fort Worth, Texas (36%), and Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (34%). The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-0020).

Boeing Satellite Systems, Los Angeles, Calif., is being awarded a $204,204,000 contract option to provide for completion and delivery of satellite 1 in support of the Wideband Gapbiller Communications Satellite program. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2004. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-00-C-0011, P00021).

Lockheed Martin, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $153,323,968 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for F-22 program support for period E through December 2002. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (30%), Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Fort Worth, Texas (36%), and Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (34%). Boeing Satellite Systems, Los Angeles, Calif., is being awarded a $204,204,000 contract option to provide for completion and delivery of satellite 2 in support of the Wideband Gapbiller Communications Satellite program. Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $111,400,000 (not-to-exceed) cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to provide for undefinitzied contractual action incorporation into the calendar year 2002 diminishing manufacturing sources effort for the F-22 program. At this time, 455,700,000 of the funds have been obligated. This work will be complete October 2004. The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (30%), Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Fort Worth, Texas (36%), and Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (34%). Northrop Grumman Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $101,300,000 (not -to-exceed) firm-price-incentive-firm contract modification to provide for low rate initial production (Lot 1) for two Global Hawk air vehicles and one mission control element. At this time, $30,000,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete September 2003 (air vehicle #1), December 2003 (air vehicles #2), and June 2003 (mission control element). The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-4601, P0001).

Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $41,603,020 firm-fixed -price contract modification to provide for 100 AIM-120 C5 advance medium range air-to-air missiles and one lot of spares and foreign military sales offset administration for Greece. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete August 2003. These support foreign military sales to Greece. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-01-C-0016, P00014).

Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $34,262,481 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 206 AGM-65G Maverick Missiles, 31 TGM-65G Maverick missiles, six TGM-65D Maverick missiles. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete November 2003. Solicitation began in August 2001; negotiations were completed December 2001. This effort supports foreign military sales to Korea, Spain, and United Arabic Emirates. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-02-C-0047).

United Technology Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $17,857,262 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract modification to provide for three F177-PW-100 spare engines for the C-17 transport aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete March 2002. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-2155, P00050).

Boeing Satellite Systems, Los Angeles, Calif., is being awarded a $13,000,000 contract option to provide for advance parts for satellite 3 in support of the Wideband Gapfiller Communication Satellite program. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete April 2005. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-00-C-0011, P00025).

The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $9,330,204 a time and materials contract modification to provide for the purchase of 22 new retrofit kits, 33 installations of previously purchased kits, and modification of 231 spares to fulfill the fiscal year 2002 requirements for Global Air traffic Management retrofit into the existing C-17 fleet. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2004. ARMY

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems of Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $70,738,275 as part of a $376,384,358 cumulative total cost-plus-award-fee contract for FY02 Patriot Engineering Services for 640,004 man-hours of effort in support of the following organizations and countries: Israel, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, Japan, Kuwait, Greece, Taiwan and the NATO Maintenance and Service Agency. Work will be performed in Burlington, Mass., (7%); Huntsville, Ala., (9%); Andover, Mass., (1%); Tewksbury, Mass., (64%); El Paso, Texas, (2%); Bedford, Mass., (16%); and Orlando, Fla., (1%), and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2003. Of the total contract funds, $48,322,586 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on Sep. 21, 1998, and one bid received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command is the contracting activity (DAAH01-99-C-0028).

Guild Associates of Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded a $11,287,212 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development, and a firm-fixed-price contract with an economic price adjustment for production units (DAAK60-97-C-9222), for 30 production units of the Laundry Advanced System (LADS) on a production option. The contract was awarded in 1997 to design and produce a highly mobile laundry system that performs field laundering of Army clothing. It includes a research and development phase followed by options for production quantities. Work will be performed in Dublin, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 37 bids solicited on Jan. 17, 1997, and 2 bids received. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Company of McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a two-year multiyear, with an additional option year, $31,898,883 firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated cumulative total of $179,103,524 for 1842NV-80 and Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3) B-Kits, 216 Sensor Units, 4780 spares and testing for the Horizontal integration Technology Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared Program. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web on Oct. 23, 2001, and two bids were received. The CECOM Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-C-J204).

DRS Optronics, Inc. of Palm Bay, Fla., is being awarded two-year multiyear, with an additional option year, $28,225,610 firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated cumulative total of $155,348,440 for 1158 NV-80 B-Kits, 216 Sensor Units, 4780 spares and testing for the Horizontal Integration Technology Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared Program. Work will be performed in Palm Bay, Fla, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web on Oct. 23, 2001, and two bids were received. The CECOM Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-C-J205).

Rudy Construction Co. of Oklahoma City, Okla., is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $6,024,527.36 cumulative total firm-fixed-price contract for the Bottomland Hardwood Restoration Project, North Canadian River, Oklahoma City, Okla. The base project includes planting approximately 4415 hardwood trees and 985,000 square yards of native grasses, construction of an irrigation system; excavation of approximately 181,000 cubic yards of earth for construction of wetlands and their appurtenant drainage structures; asphalt and concrete maintenance access trails and a concrete boat ramp, asphalt parking lots with concrete curb and gutter. Bid options will consist of public recreation seating areas and asphalt access points and a trailhead recreation area with paving, benches, drinking fountains, waste receptacles and bike racks. Work will be performed in Oklahoma City, Okla., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 100 bids solicited and 7 bids received. The Tulsa District, Corps of Engineers is the contracting activity (DACW56-02-C-1000).

General Dynamics Government Systems Corporation of Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $9,790,733.21 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (DAAB07-94-C-N853), for exercise options for common hardware/software items for Project Manager Army Tactical Command and Control Systems (PM ATCCS) computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Apr. 10, 2005. Of the total contract funds, 659,828.71 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited on Apr. 21, 1994, and three bids were received. The CECOM Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company (LHTEC) of Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded an $18,351,469 increment as part of a $130,173,867 cumulative total cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for efforts necessary to support the Engineering, and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Phase for the T801 Engine in support of the Comanche Airframe Program. This effort will complete design and testing efforts to ensure that the engine meets production qualification requirements and ready to enter full rate production. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., (50%) and Phoenix, Ariz., (50%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. There was one bid solicited on Oct. 26, 2001, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0122).

The Boeing Company, Military Aircraft and Missile Systems Group, Philadelphia, Penn., is being awarded a $5,020,250 firm-fixed-price contract for ICH-47F Long Lead items for Lot 1 and Partial Lot 2 for Low Rate Initial Production. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 15, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was submitted on July 17, 2001, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0093).

NAVY

Litton Guidance and Control Systems, Northridge, Calif., is being awarded a $17,913,963 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-99-C-1128) to exercise an option for the Communications Control Group (CCG) upgrade modifications for the S-3B Viking aircraft. Work will be performed in Northridge, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Wackenhut Services, Inc., Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $9,003,418 firm-fixed-price contract with award-fee and indefinite-quantity provisions for regional base operations within the Naval District Washington's area of operation. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $68,213,856. Work will initially be performed in Washington, D.C. (50%) and Suitland, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed by March 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 58 proposals solicited and four offers received.
