ARMY

Grove U.S.L.L.C., Shady Grove, Pa., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $6,973,248,86 as part of a $84,136,296.31 (cumulative total) firm-fixed-price contract for all 30 All Terrain Cranes (ATEC). Work will be performed in Shady Grove and is to be completed by Dec. 12, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 42 bids solicited on July 11, 1996, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the Tank Automotive Commission, Warren, Mich., (DAAE07-97-D-X001).

Alliant Techsystems Incorporated, Arden Hills, Minn., is being awarded a $5,528,152 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for container handling and technical data package management in support of the procurement of M-831A1 and M-865 tank ammunition training cartridges. Work will be performed in Middletown, Iowa and is to be completed by Oct. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Sept.1, 1998 and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Illinois, is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-C-002-0).

CORRECTION

Northrop Grumman Corp., is being awarded a $14,772,728 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of nine Radar Set Kits and associated spares. Work will be performed in Rolling Meadows, Ill. and is to be completed by Jan. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole-source contract initiated on June 26, 2001. The Communications Electronics Command Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-CH302).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp, Missiles and Fire Control Systems, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $10,131,144 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for development, fabrication, assembly, integration, inspection, test, and delivery of the low-altitude navigation and targeting infrared for night aerospace expeditionary force tester and electro-optical test stand upgrade. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed November 2003. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-01-C-0341, P00003).

NAVY

L-3 Communication, Camden Division, Camden, N.J., is being awarded a $5,078,225 priced-order under a basic ordering agreement to repair eight types of items for ARC-161 radios on the P-3 Forward Looking Infrared Radar. Repaired items will include receiver-transmitters and buffer modules. Work will be performed in Camden and is to be completed by Sept. 2002. Contract funds do not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-001J), (Order 0071).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Quality Distributors*, Harmon, Guam is being awarded an estimated $10,000,000 firm- fixed-price with indefinite quantity type contract for prime vendor for full-line food distribution for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Marine Corps in Guam. This contract action represents the invocation of the first one-year option period. Performance completion date is expected to be March 23, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 247 proposals solicited and six responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (SP0300-02-D-3002).

General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $11,725,550 firm-fixed with indefinite quantity type contract for spare parts for Abrams Family Vehicles for the U.S. Army. This contract is for a base year with four available three-year options. The performance completion date is scheduled for April 4, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one proposal solicited and one responded making this a sole-source contract offer. This company is the only company that provides these spare parts. The Defense Supply Center Columbus, Ohio is the contracting activity (SP0750-01-D-9710).
