ARMY

California Microwave of Belcamp, Md., was awarded a $7,041,956 increment on March 27, 2002, as part of a $250,000,000 cumulative total cost-plus-fixed-fee contract on March 25, 2002, for logistical contractor support services for the ARL-M aircraft program. Work will be performed in Hagerstown, Md., (40 percent) and Belcamp, Md., (60 percent). The project will be completed by Dec. 31, 2002. One bid was solicited in Nov. 2001, and one bid received. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB10-90-C-7068).

NAVY

Breeze Eastern, a division of Transtechnology, Union, N.J., is being awarded an estimated $6,500,000 firm-fixed-price long-term indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract for repair and overhaul of 34 types of hoists, hooks, and other items used in support of H-3, H-53, and H-60 helicopters. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $13,000,000. Work will be performed in Union, N.J., and is expected to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (N00383-02-D-013N).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

SK Global America Inc., New York, is being awarded a $16,249,474 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for 19,740,000 gallons of JP5 for the U.S. Navy. Work will also be performed in Kyungsangnam-Do, Korea. Performance completion date is to be Dec. 31, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 18 proposals solicited and eight responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., (SP0600-02-D-0504).

Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing Co., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $19,327,964 fixed-price with economic price adjustment type contract for 22,680,000 USG of turbine fuel, aviation grade JP5, for the Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Singapore. The work is to be completed by Jan. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. There were 18 proposals solicited and eight responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., (SP0600-02-D-0508).

FujiFilm Medical Systems USA Inc., Stamford, Ct., is being awarded an estimated annual maximum of $5,000,000 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment with indefinite quantity and delivery type contract for sub-systems or components for imaging systems for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps for federal civilian agencies. This contract is a base year with four one-year options. Performance completion date is scheduled for Feb.11, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 119 proposals solicited and 36 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, (SP0200-02-D-8333).

Welch Allyn Protocol, Beaverton, Ore., is being awarded an estimated annual maximum of $5,000,000 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment with indefinite quantity and delivery type contract for patient monitoring systems for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. This contract is a base year contract with four one-year options. The performance completion date is scheduled for April 1, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 31 proposals solicited and 11 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, (SP0200-02-D-8313).

AIR FORCE

Radian Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded an $8,798,611 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for various quantities of various components applicable to the deployable power generator distribution system. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete eight months after the option exercise. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0046, P0007).

Tri-Industries, Terre Haute, Ind., is being awarded an $8,101,788 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 186 support augmenters for the F-100 engines on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by May 2003. Solicitation began in February 2002, and two proposals were received. Negotiations were completed February 2002. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, is the contracting activity (F34601-02-C-0195).

CABACO Inc., San Diego, is being awarded a $5,179,644 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for base maintenance from April through September 2002 for the Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field and the Tonopah Test Range, both in Nevada. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by September 2002. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., is the contracting activity (F26600-95-C-0043, P00126).
