ARMY

Chamberlain Manufacturing Corp., Scranton, Pa., is being awarded a $20,696,004 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (DAAA09-99-C-0064) in support of the 155m M107 Projectile. Work will be performed in Scranton, and is to be completed by Oct. 30, 2003. There were three bids solicited on April 22, 1998 and three bids were received. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Operation Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

CHANG Industry Inc., LaVerne, Calif., is being awarded a $992,801 modification to a $9,967,604 cost-plus fixed-fee contract (DAAE07-99-C-LO62) for further development, downsize and integration of close-in radial coverage sensors and radial shape charged active protection counter measure designs into one package. Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, (45 percent); LaVerne, Calif., (45 percent); and Socorro, N.M. (10 percent), and is to be completed by April 4, 2004. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 15, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $20,000,000 time and material delivery order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-00-G-0288) to convert existing drawings, associated drawings, and technical data into a production drawing package for the low-rate initial production of MH-60R aircraft. These drawings will eliminate the production-modification process. Work will be performed in Stratford, and is to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $4,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Aircraft Center, Greenville, S.C., is being awarded an $11,500,000 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-97-D-2003) for installation of the equipment and production associated with the Phase II Avionics Upgrade to 15 C-9B aircraft including changes and updates to the C-9 technical manuals, drawings, integrated logistics support and initial user training. Work will be performed in Greenville, S.C., and is to be completed by August 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Field Support Services, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded an $8,869,448 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract (N68936-00-D-0064) for technical engineering services in support of the F-14 Weapons System Support Activity in Operational Flight Program for all F-14 configurations (F-14A, F-14B Upgrade, and F-14D). Work will be performed at Point Mugu, Calif., and is to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, Calif., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

MCI WorldCom Communications, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract for the Defense Research Engineering Network (DREN). The contract is a follow-on contract to the DREN Intersite Services Contract (DISC) and will provide state-of-the-art wide-area network (WAN) services to support the DoD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP), and DoD users in various technical communities. The minimum guarantee of the contract is $6 million. An estimated $70 million in orders will be issued during the three-year base period of this contract, with a $450 million ceiling price over the ten-year period. The requirement was solicited for full and open competition, and five offers were received. Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity. (DCA200-02-D-5003).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Linthicum Heights, Md., is being awarded a $14,264,000 (not-to-exceed) undefinitized contract to provide for five intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance manager and two common imagery processors for the distributed common ground system effort. At this time, $10,698,000 of the funds has been obligated. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-02-C-0044).

Alliant Defense Electronics Systems Inc., Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $9,953,235 estimated firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for increase in the common munitions built-in test reprogramming equipment production unit ceiling from 478 units to 648 units and to extend interim contractor support an additional 22 months. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be complete August 2006. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96-D-1217, P00017).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $6,492,000 (not-to-exceed) cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for the ordering and fielding of moving target indicator exploitation systems and capabilities, at distributed common ground system and air operations center sites. At this time, $4,869,000 of the funds has been obligated. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-02-C-0047).
