AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., Long Beach Calif., is being awarded a $19,331,976 (not-to-exceed) cost-plus-award-fee contract modification. This undefinitized contractual action (UCA) authorizes procurement of spares associated with the fiscal year 2002 Readiness Space Package (RSP) requirements. RSP are kits composed of parts to support deployment of Air Force weapons systems for wartime or contingency options. Fiscal year 2002 and 2003 RSP requirements are derived from the minutes of the C-17 RSP review held on May 18, 2001, as authorized by the Air Staff. A UCA is being issued now because of lead times. At this time, $9,665,988 of the funds has been obligated. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2002, P00048).

Hamilton Sundstrand Corp., Windsor Locks, Conn., is being awarded a $17,147,100 indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract modification to provide for modernized engine monitoring system computer kit, maximum quantity of 937 each. This Air Force requirement is applicable to F110 and F100 engines in support of F-16 aircraft. At this time, $3,861,300 of the funds has been obligated. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. This work will be completed in December 2003. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-02-D-0043, P0001).

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,492,862 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for Engineering Change Proposal 2475, European Participating Air Force M-3 kit production and installation (Phase 3) in support of F-16 aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed in September 2006. This effort support foreign military sales to Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands and Norway. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-2189, P00006).
