NAVY

Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $31,325,116 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-2102) for Naval nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N. Y. (67 percent) and Pittsburgh, (33 percent). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Future Technologies, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $27,981,430 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for organizational, facilities, program planning and management professional services in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Division, Newport, R.I. Raytheon Electronic Systems, Naval and Maritime Integrated Systems (N&MIS), Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $23,349,892 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-99-C-5387) for six OT-134A Continuous Wave Illuminators, associated spares, technical documentation, training, and engineering services in support of the Missile Fire Control Mechanism Program for the Republic of Korea Navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Sudbury, Mass. (48 percent); Waterloo, Ontario-Canada (42 percent); Chula Vista, Calif. ( nine percent) and Andover, Mass., (one percent), and is to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Jack Moore & Company, Inc.*, Pensacola, Fla., is being awarded a $8,990,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction, whole house revitalization of 117 detached and duplex one-story family housing units at Whiting Pines at Naval Air Station, Whiting Field. Work will be performed in Milton, Fla., and is to be completed by July 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 28 proposals solicited and 10 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-01-C-0373).

ARMY

Fugro Chance, Inc., Lafayette, La., is being awarded a $5,900,00 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract, for operation and maintenance of the "Scanning Hydrographic Operational Airborne Lidar Survey" (SHOALS) System. Work will be performed in Lafayette Parish, and is to be completed by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 24 bids solicited on July 12, 2001, and one bid was received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACW01-02-D-0006).

On May 1, 2002, DynCorp Technical Services, Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a $25,513,541 increment as part of a $163,224,104.69 modification to a firm-fixed-price with cost reimbursable lines contract for C12 and UC35 Aircraft Life Cycle Support. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, and is to be completed by Jan. 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited as this was run on the Worldwide Web on March 8, 2000, and two bids were received. U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0226).
