United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $348,000,000 (maximum) contract modification to provide for an increase in the ceiling amount on the contract to acquire maintenance upgrade packages supporting F100-PW-220 engines on F-15 and F-16 aircraft. This modification extends the ordering period by seven years through fiscal year 2008, extends the pricing for 35 maintenance upgrade packages and add ten new maintenance upgrade packages configurations to this effort. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the above amount.
