AT&T Business Communication Services, Washington, D.C., is being awarded an estimated $49,900,000 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to previously awarded contract (N00600-94-D-0344) for telecommunications services for the U.S. State Department. Services will provide, install, maintain, and repair secure telecommunication systems, to include PBX systems, voicemail, email, and global satellites, through the 2003 fiscal year. The work will be performed in Washington, D.C., (75 percent); Warrenton, Va. (10 percent); New York City (five percent); Charleston, S.C. (five percent); and 18 other miscellaneous sites (five percent); and is to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The contract will be obligated with State Department funds from the 2002 and 2003 fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured by the Navy Regional Contracting Center Washington, D.C., with 244 proposals solicited and two offers received and award made on Dec. 13, 1993. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total contract value to $45,000,000. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M. (75 percent), and Santa Barbara, Calif. Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc., Dallas is being awarded a $6,603,774 modification to previously awarded cost reimbursement, no-fee facilities capital maintenance contract (N00019-00-E-0497) to exercise an option for materials and services in support of the capital type rehabilitation and maintenance of the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant (NWIRP), Dallas. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $5,820,613 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-01-C-0172) to provide additional funding for the repair of the EP-3 aircraft that was stranded on Hainan Island, People's Republic of China. Work will be performed in Marietta, Ga., and is to be completed in January 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $3,950,608 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contract Fabrication and Design Inc., Princeton, Texas, is being awarded a $7,235,109 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for manufacture of one Trial Installation, one Kit Proof, and 19 production Gun Mount and Ammunication Handling System kits applicable to HH-60 helicopter in support of Air Force Special Operations Forces Requirements. CACI Technologies Inc., Chantilly, Va., is being awarded an $8,065,736 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to investigate, develop, and integrate new audio enhancements, bitstream processing, improved emitter sorting and identification and artificial intelligence applications into operational system platforms to improve signal-processing capabilities of the warfighter. At this time, $763,500 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by May 2005. Solicitation began July 2001; negotiations were completed in May 2002.
