MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY
The Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif., and Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a cost-plus-award-fee contract modification for continued scientific and engineering technical assistance support to the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense Joint Program Office. The continued effort is estimated at $43,000,000. The principal place of performance will be in Arlington and Fairfax, Va., and will continue through November 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Missile Defense Agency is the contracting activity (HQ0006-00-C-0008).
Bradbury Stamm Construction Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., was awarded on June 10, 2002, a $12,261,910 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of the Baca Dlo'ay azhi Consolidated Replacement School. Work will be performed in Prewitt, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 19, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on Jan. 23, 2002, and five bids were received. The U. S. Army District, Albuquerque, N.M., is the contracting activity (DACW47-02-C-0008).
Sauer Inc., doing business as Sauer Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded $9,160,000 for firm-fixed-price Task Order 0002 under an indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity design build multiple award construction contract for construction of a control tower/airfield operations facility at Naval Air Station, Key West. The aviation control tower will be a separate seven-story steel frame building and the operations building/passenger terminal will be a two-story masonry block building. Work will be performed in Key West, Fla., and is expected to be completed by November 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 50 proposals solicited, 19 offers received and award made to multiple contractors on June 25, 1999. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $200,000,000 (base period and three option years). The multiple contractors (three in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Three proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-98-D-0672).
ITT Aerospace, Communications Division, Ft. Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a $9,000,000 undefinitized contract modification to perform critical risk mitigation tasks in support of the Crosstrack Infrared Sounder Sensor Development Program before the final 1394a Interface Requirements Document is placed on the contract. At this time, $1,400,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by September 2009. Solicitation began June 2002. The Space and Missiles Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-99-C-0061, P00032).
