ARMY

DynCorp Technical Services, Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a $11,700,000 increment as part of a $204,564,772.90 firm-fixed-price with cost reimbursable lines contract for C12 and UC35 Aircraft Life Cycle Support on July 16, 2002. Work will be performed in Fort Worth and is to be completed by Jan.31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 8, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0226).

Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure Inc., Concord, Calif., was awarded a $10,712,733 firm-fixed-price contract for Directorate of Public Works support services on July 16, 2002. Work will be performed at Fort Richardson, Alaska (47 percent), and Fort Wainwright, Alaska (53 percent), and is to be completed by May 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Feb. 15, 2002, and one bid was received. The U. S. Army Garrison, Fort Richardson, Alaska, is the contracting activity (DAPC49-02-C-0009).

Specialty Defense Systems, Dunmore, Pa., a $5,696,466.96 modification to a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract for the Marine Corps Modular Load Carrying System on July 12, 2002. Work will be performed in Jefferson City, Tenn. (35 percent), and McKee, Ky. (65 percent), and is to be completed by July 13, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 21, 1997, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity (DAAK60-97-D-9302).

AIR FORCE

Radian Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $7,568,236 contract modification to provide for various Hardware Components of the Deployable Power Generator Distribution System. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete March 2003. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0046, P00011).

NAVY

The Hodess Building Company, Inc., North Attleboro, Mass.; The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, Baltimore, Md.; and The Diversified Technology Consultants, Inc.*, North Haven, Conn., are being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract. The Hodess Building Co., is being awarded the initial task order in the amount of $9,341,193 (including the minimum guarantee) for all engineering, design, and construction services as well as the requisite materials and equipment for a new Unmanned Undersea Combat Vehicle Laboratory at Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, R.I. and an option for an Undersea Network Centric Laboratory. The total contract amount is not to exceed $30,000,000 (base period and two option years). Work for this task order is to be completed by January 2005. The remaining two contractors are being awarded the minimum guarantee of $5,000. Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps installations in Rhode Island (70 percent), Connecticut (19 percent), New York (four percent) Massachusetts (one percent), Maine (one percent), Vermont (one percent), New Hampshire (one percent), Pennsylvania (one percent), New Jersey (one percent) and Delaware (one percent). The term of the contract is not to exceed 36 months, with an expected completion date of July 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Naval Facilities e-solicitation Web site with 17 offers received. These three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. The Engineering Field Activity Northeast, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Lester, Pa., is the contracting activity (N62472-02-D-0805/0806/0807).

DEFENSE LOGISITCS AGENCY

Tiger Natural Gas, Inc Tulsa, Okla., is being awarded $15,153,301 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for 5,881,088 Dekatherms of Direct Supply natural Gas for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force and Federal Civilian Agencies. Work will also be performed in Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida. Performance completion date is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expired at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 186 proposals solicited with 34 responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-02-D-7712)
