ARMY

URS Coleman, Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $100,000 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract with a cumulative total of $22,267,870 for public outreach services for the Program Manager for Chemical Demilitarization. Work will be performed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and is to be completed by July 17, 2007. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Dec. 7, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground is the contracting activity (DAAD13-02-D-0001).

Swanberg Construction Inc., Valley City, N.D., was awarded a $500,000 construction contract with a cumulative total of $5,184,755 for a flood control project on July 2, 2002. Work will be performed in Grand Forks, N.D., and is to be completed by Oct. 21, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 135 bids solicited on April 23, 2002, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, St. Paul, Minn., is the contracting activity (DACW37-02-C-0016).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $73,799,437 contract modification to provide for 225 AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (14 for Air Force, 4 for Navy, 147 for South Korea, 50 for Oman), associated warranties (14 for Air Force, 4 for Navy), and one lot of spares (for South Korea). Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by August 2004. Solicitation began October 2001; Negotiations were completed April 2002. The Air Armament Center, Air-To-Air Joint Systems Program Office, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-000 - P00004).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $6,269,324 contract modification to provide for award fee earning during award fee period three (1 October thru 31 March 02) for C-17 flexible sustainment contract. Total funds have been obligated. The locations for performance are: McDonnell Douglas, Long Beach, Calif. (43%); Pratt and Whitney, Cheshire Conn. (32%). The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2002, P00056).

Rolls Royce Corp., Indianapolis is being awarded a $6,616,797 contract to provide for 22 T-56 Turbine Modules, applicable to Air Force C-130 Aircraft. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2002. Solicitation began May 2002; Negotiations were completed July 2002. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-02-C-0284).

Strategic Procurement Services, Inc.*, F airfield, N.J., is being awarded $93,000,000 firm fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite/quantity delivery type contract for prime vendor contract for maintenance, repair and operations supplies and related services for the Southeast Region, Zone 1 for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force and federal civilian agencies. Performance completion date is scheduled for July 17, 2004. Contract funds will expired at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 110 proposals solicited and 11 were responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (SP0500-02-D-0121).
