AIR FORCE

The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $65,451,712 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for a specific list of spares supporting readiness spares kits, high priority mission spares kits, intermediate level repair capability, special operations low-level mission support, long lead for site activation and other contingency support, to include landing gear. Undefinitized contractual action coverage will provide funding for immediate procurement of spares and will obligate 100% funding under the existing Operation Enduring Freedom mission guidance. This work will be complete by December 2004. Solicitation began June 2002. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2002, P00065).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $28,577,854 modification to a previously awarded fixed-priced-incentive contract (N00019-00-C-0307) to exercise an option for the low rate initial production of 109 advanced mission computers, 110 5x5 forward display heads and 44 5x5 aft display heads to be integrated into the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M. (41%); St. Louis, Mo. (36%); and Minneapolis, Minn. (23%), and is expected to be completed in March 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Stolper-Fabralloy Co., Phoenix, Ariz., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $4,032,600 as part of a $22,165,000 firm-fixed-price contract for combustion liner assemblies. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Oct. 9, 2002, and one bid was received. The U. S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, is the contracting activity (DAAE07-02-D-N024).

AM General Corp., Mishawaka, Ind., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $981,770 as part of a $13,056,186 firm-fixed-price contract for a high mobility multi-wheeled vehicle hood engine compartment. Work will be performed in Mishawaka, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 9, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Dec. 20, 2001, and one bid was received. The U. S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, is the contracting activity (DAAE07-02-D-S052).
