AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $63,830,950 cost-plus award-fee contract modification to address the impact to the development schedule for military strategic and tactical relay system communication satellites 5 and 6 resulting from changes to the Titan IV launch dates in the Air Force Space Command launch manifest. The launch date for Flight 5 was Jan. 15, 2002 and the launch date for Flight 6 is Jan. 21, 2003. This work will be complete by April 2004. The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-92-C-0049/P00317).
