NAVY

Charles Stark Draper, Cambridge, Mass., is being awarded a $34,138,453 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This contract encompasses the following efforts in support of the TRIDENT II (D5) guidance system life extension program: assess the readiness and applicability of various sensor technologies, assess the ability to fabricate various electronic parts technologies and assess the readiness and applicability of software techniques and computer processing technology. Work will be performed in Cambridge, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-03-C-0012).

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, Mass., is being awarded a $12,898,320 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to manage the MK6 10-Pendulous Integrating Gyroscopic Accelerometer repair program for the TRIDENT II (D-5) MK-6 guidance system. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla. (91.82%), and Cambridge, Mass. (8.18%), and is expected to be completed by January 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $6,852,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-03-C-0011).

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $6,503,494 modification to previously awarded contract (N00030-01-C-0100) to exercise an option to provide the critical skills retention tasks in the production of Post Boost Control System (PBCS) gas generators. This effort provides manufacturing, inspection, and testing efforts on PBCS gas generators. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif. (1%), and Gainesville, Va. (99%), and is expected to be completed by August 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISITICS AGENCY

Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Inc., Princeton, N.J., is being awarded a $14,906,599 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-delivery type of contract for recombinant DNA (rDNA Human Insulin) estimated annual requirement of 3,375,471 vials for the U.S. Army. Work will also be performed in Clayton, N.C. Performance completion date is scheduled for Oct. 31, 2003. This contract is exercising its third year option. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was solicited on the Web. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is the contracting activity (SP0200-00-D-0511).
