NAVY

Digital Wizards, Inc., San Diego is being awarded a $25,377,218 indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost-reimbursement contract for the continued development of the Data Link Test Tools (DLTT) and Gateway Systems (GS). Both DLTT and GS are employed as the method to connect host and combat systems at remote labs to the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System and Multifunctional Information Distribution System terminals and terminal emulators to create a virtual network. The DLTT equipment and GS support the development, integration, and implementation of Tactical Digital Information Link. Work will be performed in San Diego and is to be completed in November 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under solicitation N66001-02-R-5003 through the Space & Naval Warfare Systems Command E-Commerce Central Web site. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego is the contracting activity (N66001-03-D-5007).

Sauer, Inc., dba Sauer Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla.; The Korte Co., Highland, Ill.; James N. Gray Co., Lexington, Ky.; and The Austin Co., Alpharetta, Ga., were awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for design and build projects at various Navy and Marine Corps installations in South Carolina. The term of the contract is not to exceed five years, with a completion date of May 2007. The initial task order was announced as a single award to Sauer on May 30, 2002. The remaining three contractors were awarded the minimum guarantee of $100,000. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value to a not to exceed amount of $200,000,000. Sauer, Inc., is being awarded Task Order 0002 in the amount of $10,571,600 for construction of the New Laurel Bay Elementary School at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C. Work for this task order will be performed in Beaufort and is to be complete by August 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 32 proposals solicited, six offers received, and award made on May 30, 2002. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-01-D-0297/0416/0414/0415).

AIR FORCE

Accenture LLP, Chicago is being awarded a $14,809,676 cost-plus award-fee contract modification for the management, design, development, implementation and sustainment of the new Web-Based Automated Business Services System (ABSS). The ABSS will comply with all applicable DoD, Air Force and Chief Contract Support System standards as it moves to a modernized GCSS-Air Force environment. Accenture LLP will perform this effort in Fairborn, Ohio. At this time, $410,128 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by December 2005. Solicitation began June 2002 and negotiations were completed in September 2002. The Headquarters Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $14,107,859 cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification to provide for continuation of the development of long-term track maintenance capabilities, to develop and demonstrate real-time battle management and command, control, and communications (BM/C3), and to complete the development of the Affordable Surface Target Engagement (AMSTE) II System architecture in order to perform an end-to-end demonstration of an AMSTE precision engagement system. At this time, $1,261,101 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by October 2003. The Air Force Research Laboratory, is the contracting activity (F30602-02-C-0001/P00007).
