ARMY

The Boeing Co., Philadelphia was awarded a delivery order amount of $4,874,000 as part of a $15,220,750 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-deliver and indefinite-quantity contract for 50 CH-47 Swashplates on Nov. 6, 2002. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., and is to be completed by June 29, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 7, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-D-0307).

NAVY

United Defense LP, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, Calif., is being awarded a $12,753,379 firm-fixed-price contract for the engineering and production of 145 Opposing-Forces Surrogate Training Systems-Main Battle Tank (OSTS-MBT) vehicles for the U.S. Army, including associated integrated logistics support. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala. (80 percent) and Santa Clara, Calif. (20 percent), and is to be completed in June 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $4,612,918 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla. is the contracting activity (N61339-03-C-0004).
