DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Valero Marketing and Supply Co., San Antonio is being awarded $87,199,890 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for JP8 and EN590 fuel for the government of Israel. Work will also be performed in Texas City, Texas. The performance completion date is January 30, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 12 proposals solicited with seven responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-03-D-0457)

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems Surface Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $53,498,108 cost-plus-award-fee, level-of-effort contract to provide engineering services for DDG 51 and CG 47 Class AEGIS Combat System Installation, Integration and Test (DDG 93), in support of the Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems. The total level-of-effort for this contract is 441,035 hours, and includes program management and operation support, quality assurance, configuration management, ship design integration, installation support, firmware maintenance, combat system test and evaluation, Navy furnished material support, special studies for DDG 51 and CG 47 Class ships, and future-ship integration studies. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $977,157,067. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (60 percent), Bath, Maine (20 percent) and Pascagoula, Miss. (20 percent), and is to be completed by October 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-03-C-5115).

RBC, Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $13,810,573 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity, time-and-materials contract (N00421-00-D-0248) to exercise an option for up to 237,259 man-years of technical, engineering, management, and financial services in support of U.S. Navy and foreign P-3 aircraft programs. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is to be completed in December 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $100,000 in Foreign Military Sales Administrative funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($11,384,218; 87.4 percent) and the governments of Japan ($558,688; 3 percent); Korea ($558,688; 3 percent); Netherlands ($558,688; 3 percent); Thailand ($270,969; 1.6 percent); Australia ($239,661; 1 percent); and Norway ($239,661; 1 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a potential value $8,134,839 cost-reimbursable modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-00-C-5139) for AEGIS depot operations and AEGIS lifetime support services. This modification procures integrated program management services, engineering and technical support and services, and life-cycle engineering and logistics support and services. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is to be completed by November 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

John J. Kirlin Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $300,000 as part of a $75,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for renovation, repair and minor construction for DoD Army medical and support facilities. Work will be performed at various locations within the U.S. and Puerto Rico to be determined with each task order, and is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Oct. 26, 2001, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACA01-03-D-0004).
