AIR FORCE

TRW ICBM Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $173,593,540 fixed-price-incentive, firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for Minuteman III Guidance Replacement Program full rate production option FY2003. Eighty NS-50 Missile Guidance Sets, thirty-six reentry-system cable sets. (Plus potential award fee $8,265,104). Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by July 2005. Solicitation began October 2002 and Negotiations were completed December 2002. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).

TRW, San Jose, Calif., is being awarded a $29,167,320 cost-plus award-fee contract modification to provide for design, development and test on the high band system production configuration unit, in support of Global Hawk. At this time, $15,000,000 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by December 2005. Solicitation began June 2002 and negotiations were completed November 2002. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-4505, P00044).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $19,782,000 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for five lots of spare parts and three lots of support equipment to support the USCG HC-130J maritime patrol aircraft program, and 1 iteration of aircrew training to support USCG HC-130J operations. Additionally, up to twelve months of various types of interim contractor support are being procured. All items being procured through option exercises. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2003. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-0018, P00037).

NAVY

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $38,316,308 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-2901) to exercise an option for the procurement and manufacturing of long lead time material for the conversion of Ohio Class SSBN submarines to Ohio Class SSGN submarines. Work will be performed in Quonset, R.I. (82 percent), and Groton, Conn. (18 percent), and is to be completed by September 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Digital System Resources, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an estimated $28,135,728 cost-plus incentive/award-fee contract for development of the Tactical Control System (TCS) under the CCS Mk2 Combat Control program. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to an estimated value of $169,059,987. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va., (54 percent); Pittsfield, Mass. (17 percent); Middleton, Md. (20 percent); McLean, Va. (5 percent); Waterford, Conn. (4 percent), and is to be completed in December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Federal Business Opportunities web page, with four offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-03-C-6206).

Raytheon Company, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded an estimated value $20,185,705 cost-plus incentive/award-fee contract for the development of the Weapons Control System (WCS) under the CCS Mk2 Combat Control program. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to an estimated value of $205,268,193. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I. (68 percent); Fairfax, Va., (11 percent); Middletown, R.I., (7 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (4 percent); San Diego, Calif. (3 percent), Roswell, Ga. (3 percent), Tiverton, R.I. (2 percent), Manassas, Va. (1 percent), Beverly Hills, Calif. (1 percent), and is to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Federal Business Opportunities web page, with two offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-03-C-6207).

L-3 Communications Corp., Sylmar, Calif., is receiving an $8,682,000 ceiling priced order to previously awarded contract (N00383-99-G-015N) to purchase Q-13 sonar transducers for the H-60F helicopter. Work will be performed at Sylmar, Calif., and is to be completed by March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa, is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISITCS AGENCY

US Foodservice d/b/a Joseph Webb Foods, Vista, Ca., is being awarded $33,450,000 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type of contract for prime vendor of food and beverage support for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies. Performance completion date is expected to be January 12, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 96 solicitations and five responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-03-D-2995)

ARMY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $270,494,447 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 12 Army Black Hawk Helicopters (UH-60L), 15 Navy Knight Hawk Helicopters (MH-60S), and 12-months of project systems management and technical publications for the Navy. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 4, 2000. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0006).

Trak International Inc., Port Washington, Wis., was awarded on Dec. 12, 2002, a delivery order amount of $21,432,751.20 as part of a $160,302,549 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for 168 All-Terrain Lifter Army System Rough Terrain Forklift Vehicles. Work will be performed in Port Washington, Wis., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17 bids solicited on Nov. 17, 1994, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-95-D-R012).

Honeywell International Inc., Tempe, Ariz., was awarded on Dec. 12, 2002, a delivery order amount of $17,352,292.61 as part of a $149,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for procurement of supplies for various T-55 engine spare parts. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 17, 2002. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-03-D-0040).

Network Computing Services Inc., Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $16,474,604.49 as part of a $98,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for infrastructure support for the Army High Performance Computing Research Center. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 12, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Cubic Defense Systems Inc., San Diego, Calif., was awarded on Dec. 12, 2002, a $4,977,678 increment as part of a $6,171,820 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for development, test and delivery of APCO 25 waveform software products to support future cluster JTR set acquisitions of the Joint Tactical Radio System. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
