AIR FORCE

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., and Lockheed Martin Corp., Archbald, Pa., is being awarded a $2,000,000,000 indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract to be used to place orders for Paveway II Laser Guided Bomb Kits over a potential seven-year period. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders on the basis of fair opportunities to any of the participating contractors totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. The locations of performance are: Raytheon Co., Tucson and Lockheed Martin Corp., Archbald. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by February 2011. The solicitation began in December 2002 and negotiations were completed in February 2003. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-03-D-0001 - F42630-03-D-0003).

Northrop Grumman Corp., San Diego is being awarded a $74,500,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification to provide for contingency operations to include pre-deployment, deployment and operations of a ground segment, two air vehicles, and associated support segment in a forward theater of operations for a classified length of time. At this time, $9,200,000 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by December 2003. The solicitation began in January 2003. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-03-G-4306-000301).

NAVY

J.F. Taylor, Inc., Lexington Park, Md., is being awarded a $29,973,309 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-01-C-0422) to exercise an option for technical and administrative services to support the Manned Flight Simulator Facility, Atlantic Ranges and Facilities Department, Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. The total estimated level of effort is 300,000 man-hours. Work will be performed in Patuxent River (90 percent), and Lexington Park, Md. (10 percent), and is to be completed in September 2004. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $20,500,000 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, multiple award contract (N00019-02-C-3253) to conduct phase II of the multi-mission maritime aircraft component advanced development effort. Work will be performed in Marietta and is to be completed in May 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Sojourn Lodging* Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $17,758,141 indefinite- deliver and indefinite-quantity contract with time and material pricing provisions for government quarter support services ranging from operation of the entire lodging facility to providing assistance and support of minor functions. The requirement was issued on a restricted basis in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.203 and 19.5, set-asides for small business concerns. Sparton Defense Electronics, DeLeon Springs, Fla., is being awarded a $7,136,416 firm-fixed-price contract for 6,303 AN/SSQ-62E sonobuoys and associated data. The AN/SSQ-62E sonobuoys are dropped from various airborne platforms and utilized for search and detection of submerged submarines. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs and is to be completed by February 2005. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-03-C-6718).

Totem Ocean Trailer Express, Federal Way, Wash., is being awarded an estimated $6,800,000 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursables for the 90-day time charter of a roll-on/roll-off ship to carry military cargo. The U.S.-flagged ship will operate in strategic locations worldwide during the contract period. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured, with three offers received. The Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-03-C-5508).

American Cargo Transport, Seattle is being awarded an estimated $5,800,000 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursables for the 180-day time charter of a roll-on/roll-off ship to carry military cargo. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Dixie Chemical Company, Inc.*, Houston is being awarded an $8,796,270 firm-fixed price type of contract for high density synthetic hydrocarbon JP10 and priming fluid PF1 propellants for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. The performance completion date is Feb. 19, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a Web site proposal solicited and four responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas (SP0600-03-D-1509).
