NAVY

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded an estimated $29,658,706 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5330) to exercise an option to provide engineering and technical services in support of the Standard Missile-2 guided missile program. The modification satisfies requirements for the governments of Spain (90%) and the Netherlands (10%), under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Electronic Systems, Suffolk, Va., is being awarded a $24,842,642 cost-plus-award-fee contract for services in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Experimentation Directorate in support of the formulation and analysis of joint operational concepts. Work will be performed at Suffolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through full and open competition, with 40 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Philadelphia. Pa., is the contracting activity (N00140-01-C-H001).

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Paxutent River, Md., is being awarded a $23,657,004 ceiling priced order under previously awarded contract (N00383-97-G-002N) for procurement of various spares for the CV-22 Osprey. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by May 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (Order 0044).

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Paxutent River, Md., is being awarded an $18,356,854 ceiling priced order under previously awarded contract (N00383-97-G-002N) for procurement of various LRIP (Low Rate Initial Production) spares for the CV-22 Osprey. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., and is expected to be completed by May 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (Order 0045).

Korte Construction Company dba The Korte Company, Highland, Ill., is being awarded $5,165,098 for firm-fixed-price Task Order 0001 under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for a military police and emergency facility at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. The multi-story, 26,178 square feet facility will consolidate the base police, fire department and emergency services functions. Work will be performed in Parris Island, S.C., and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 32 proposals solicited, six offers received and award made to multiple contractors on May 30, 2002. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $200,000,000 (base period and four option years). The multiple contractors (four in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Two proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-02-D-0416).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sysco Food Services of Seattle, Kent Wash., is being awarded a $13,000,000 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity/delivery type of contract for full line food distribution for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard and Job Corps. Performance completion date is expected to be May 1, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 12 solicitations and four responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-03-D-3055).

AIR FORCE

Sverdrup Technology, Inc., Tullahoma, Tenn., is being awarded a $7,469,044 cost plus award fee contract modification to provide for the FY2003 test workload. This is the final year of an eight-year contract to operate, maintain and repair the Propulsion and Aerospace Flight Dynamics Test Facilities of the Arnold Engineering Development Center. This action adjusts the contract to reflect the currently projected test workload. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.
