CONTRACTS

 

NAVY

 

General Electric Aircraft Engines, General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded an estimated $14,636,543 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-99-C-1175) for F414-GE-400 depot repair parts, components and subcomponents for Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Depot, Jacksonville, in support of production of whole engine and module spares for the F/A-18E/F aircraft.  Work will be performed in Madisonville, Ky. (34%); at various vendor locations across the United States (33%); Lynn, Mass. (15%); Rutland, Vt. (9%); Hooksett, N.H. (6%); Albuquerque, N.M. (1%); Elano, Ohio (1%); Evandale, Ohio. (.5%); and Wilmington, N.C. (.5%), and is expected to be completed in September 2003.  Contract funds in the amount of $14,039,070 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

 

ARMY

 

American Ordnance LLC, Milan, Tenn., is being awarded a $13,381,172 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (DAAA09-98-G-0011) for loading, assembling and packing M918 (40mm) cartridges.  Work will be performed in Milan, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There was one bid solicited on Dec. 12, 2002, and one bid was received.  The U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

 

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $10,400,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for technology development research and development effort to upgrade the various models of Heavy Equipment Mobility Tactical Trucks.  Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There was one bid solicited on June 3, 2003, and one bid was received.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command-Warren, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-03-CS089).

 

BAE Systems-Ordnance Systems Inc., Kingsport, Tenn., is being awarded a $5,687,818 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (DAAA09-03-D-0007) for the manufacture of 770, 707 pounds of comp C-4, Class 3 (tagged) explosives to support the Mine Clearing Line Charge Program.  Work will be performed in Kingsport, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There was on bid solicited on June 3, 2003, and one bid was received.  The U.S. Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

 

AIR FORCE

 

Cram Roofing Co. Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $6,285,946 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for roofing services including construction of new roofs and modification, renovation and demolition of existing roofs at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.  Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount.  Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete September 2007.  Negotiations were completed August 2002.  The Oklahoma Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34650-02-D-0004, P00001).

 

Boeing Aerospace Operations Inc., Midwest City, Okla., is being awarded a $5,237,665 contract modification to provide for upgrade of one KC-10 Cockpit Procedures Trainers to Federal Aviation Administration Level 6 flight training devices in fiscal year 2003.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete December 2005.  The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-99-C-0033, P00179).
