DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tennier Industries Inc.*, Pomona, N.Y., is being awarded $35,388,050 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for modular sleep systems for the U.S. Army. Work also will be performed in Huntsville and Sunbright, Tenn. Performance completion date is Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will expire this fiscal year. This was an Internet solicitation, and seven responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-03-D-4047, 0001).

NAVY

Dick Corp., Pittsburgh, Pa., as the designated sponsor for the joint venture of Burns and Roe Services Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., and Dick Corp., is being awarded a maximum amount of $10,000,000 with a guaranteed minimum of $500,000 (base period), firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity job order contract for minor construction, marine work, alteration and repair of government facilities at the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay. The total contract amount is not to exceed $50,000,000 (base period and four option years). Work will be performed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is expected to be completed by July 2004. Term of the contract is not to exceed July 2008 (options years). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal. This contract was competitively procured with 38 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-03-D-3009).

Racal Instrument Inc., Irvine, Calif., is being awarded an $8,794,273 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of six jet engine test instrumentation units and applicable engine adapter assemblies, one software development and configuration station and associated logistic and technical support and training for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Irvine, Calif. (67%), and San Antonio, Texas (33%), and is expected to be completed in July 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-03-C-0196).
