NAVY

Raytheon Aerospace LLC, Madison, Miss., is being awarded a fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, time and materials requirements contract with an estimated value of $85,738,469 for contractor logistics support for the T-45 Training System. Work will be performed in Kingsville, Texas (56%) and Meridian, Miss. (44%), and is expected to be completed in September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under an electronic request for proposals, with 28 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-03-D-0010).

Composite Optics Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $25,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program under Topic N00-099 entitled "High Speed Dual-Mode Missile Radome." The primary objective of this Phase III SBIR Program is further development, maturation, and demonstration of high temperature material systems, which provides for the electromagnetic and thermal structural characteristics required for current and future radome and Frequency Selective Surface applications. The contractor will perform studies and evaluate several materials for their ability to meet the target performance requirements at the required temperature. Then the contractor will perform extensive development and performance characterization on two selected candidates and finally demonstrate the developed technology on one prototype radome design. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in August 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured using SBIR Program Solicitation under Topics N00-099 and nine offers were received. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J. is the contracting activity (N68335-03-D-0104).

Booz Allen and Hamilton Inc., McLean Va., is being awarded an $11,362,163 cost-plus fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity, level of effort service contract, for engineering and technical environmental support services. The task areas are as follows; program management, administration, regulation and compliance, training support, clean up, engineering services, chemical analysis and technology transfer. The contract contains options that, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative contract value to an estimated $61,080,074. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet, with 107 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-03-D-0020).

Naval Environmental Services (NES), Arlington Va., is being awarded a $10,074,465 cost-plus fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, level of effort service contract, for engineering and technical environmental support services. The task areas are as follows; program management, administration, regulation and compliance, training support, clean up, engineering services, chemical analysis and technology transfer. This contract contains options that, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative contract value to $54,562,853. Work will be performed in Herndon, Va., and is expected to be completed in September 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet with 107 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-03-D-0021).

Healy Tibbitts Builders Inc. Aiea, is being awarded a $5,873,300 firm-fixed-price contract for repair of Bulkhead K12 at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor. Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by November 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 15 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-01-C-1311).

AIR FORCE

CH2M Hill Ltd., Greenwood Village, Colo., is being awarded a $12,500,000 indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract to provide for Miscellaneous Architect-Engineer Services in support of HQ AFCESA Programs. Award consists of a base period and four one-year options. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount indicated above. CH2 Hill Ltd. will perform this effort at CH2M Hill Ltd., Gainesville, Fla. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete July 2008. Solicitations began in April 2003 and negotiations were completed in July 2003. The Air Education Training Command, Tyndall Air Force Base, is the contracting activity (F08637-03-D-6999).

Earth Technical Inc., Englewood, Colo., is being awarded a $12,500,000 indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract to provide for Miscellaneous Architect-Engineer Services in support of HQ AFCESA Programs. ARMY

Inland Equipment Services, Panama City is being awarded a $5,807,199 firm-fixed-price channel excavation, clearing and snagging along a 4-mile reach of the Big Escmbia creek. Work will be performed in Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 23, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. There were 277 bids solicited and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity, (DACW01-03-C-0027).
