CONTRACTS

 

AIR FORCE

 

AT&T Government Solutions, GRC International Inc., Fairborn, Ohio, is being awarded a $49,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to advance the current state-of-the-art in laser-hardened materials technology through the performance of a series of short-term, specialized and focused efforts on innovative materials technologies, interactions, materials development and application studies and tests.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above.  At this time, $882,436 of the funds has been obligated.  Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete September 2003.  Solicitations began January 2003, and negotiations were complete July 2003.  The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-03-D-5421). 

 

Anteon Corp., Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $49,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to advance the current state-of-the-art in laser-hardened materials technology through the performance of a series of short-term, specialized and focused efforts on innovative materials technologies, interactions, materials development and application studies and tests.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above.  At this time, $949,990 of the funds has been obligated.  Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete September 2003.  Solicitations began January 2003, and negotiations were complete July 2003.  The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-03-D-5408). 

 

ARMY

 

New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, N.J., was awarded on July 31, 2003, a delivery order amount of $150,000 as part of a $27,000,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for research and engineering support of nanotechnology and applications.  Work will be performed in Newark, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on March 27, 2002.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAE30-03-D-1015).

 

United Defense LP, York, Pa., was awarded on Aug. 4, 2003, a $5,335,000 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for five Hercules heavy recovery production vehicles.  Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on June 10, 2003.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-N030).

 

Mission Technologies Inc., San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on Aug. 4, 2003, a $5,046,345 firm-fixed-price contract for three generation II mini-unmanned air vehicles.  Work will be performed in Hondo, Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on April 23, 2003.  The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-03-C-P021).
