ARMY

 

            Boro Construction, King of Prussia, Pa., was awarded on Sept. 30, 2003, a $14,534,900 firm-fixed-price contract for a Squadron Operation/Aircraft Maintenance Unit Facility.  Work will be performed at McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., and is expected to be completed by April 13, 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 29 bids solicited on Aug. 22, 2003, and nine bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, N.Y., is the contracting activity (DACA51-03-C-0037).

 

            CH2M Hill Inc., Herndon, Va., was awarded on Sept. 30, 2003, a delivery order amount of $6,122,530 as part of a $6,122,530 firm-fixed-price contract for the relocation and C-5 conversion of the Memphis Air National Guard Base.  Work will be performed in Herndon, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 1, 2003.  The U.S. Property and Fiscal Office, Nashville, Tenn., is the contracting activity (DAHA90-99-D-0005).

 

            Environmental Chemical Corp., Burlingame, Calif., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a delivery order amount of $5,602,665 as part of a $100,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for environmental and remediation support services.  Work will be performed in Bourne, Mass., and is expected to be completed by March 19, 2012.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 29, 2000, and five bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Concord, Mass., is the contracting activity (DACW33-02-D-0003).

            General Dynamics Land Systems Muskegon, Muskegon, Mich., was awarded on Oct. 6, 2003, a delivery order amount of $1,841,362 as part of a $5,223,818 firm-fixed-price contract for interface assembly for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Transmission systems.  Work will be performed in Muskegon, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 6, 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Sept. 6, 2002, and one bid was received.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-03-D-N107).

 

            Titan Corp., San Diego, Calif., was awarded on Sept. 30, 2003, a delivery order amount of $1,290,849 as part of a $30,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the design and hardening of C3 systems.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on June 10, 2003.  The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (DTRA01-03-D-0023).

 

            Miltec Corp., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on Sept. 30, 2003, a $750,000 increment as part of a $71,207,520 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Compact Kinetic Energy Missile Advanced Technology Demonstration.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were three bids solicited on May 29, 2003, and two bids were received.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-R315).

 

            Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on Sept. 30, 2003, a $750,000 increment as part of an $82,821,486 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Compact Kinetic Energy Advanced Technology Demonstration.  Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas (99%) and Camden, Ark. (1%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were three bids solicited on May 29, 2003, and two bids were received.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-R314).

 

            American Marsh, Collierville, Tenn., was awarded on Oct. 7, 2003, a delivery order amount of $366,798 as part of a $9,770,460 firm-fixed-price contract for fuel pump assemblies and supporting technical data.  Work will be performed in Collierville, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2011.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Dec. 5, 2002, and four bids were received.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-03-D-T104).

 

            Choi Enterprises Inc., Pittsburgh, Pa., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, an $81,500 increment as part of a $12,874,960 firm-fixed-price contract for removal of various features of the existing river chamber and installing stabilization features.  Work will be performed in Chaleroi, Pa., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were six bids solicited on June 5, 2003, and three bids were received.  The U.S. Army Engineer District, Pittsburgh, Pa., is the contracting activity (DACW59-03-C-0006).

 

            Future Research Corp., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a delivery order amount of $44,041 as part of a $10,500,272 firm-fixed-price contract for P2 system maintenance and support contract system.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 28 bids solicited on March 14, 2003, and 28 bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACA87-03-D-0034).

 

            Techna-Graphics, Washington, D.C., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a delivery order amount of $30,100 as part of a $5,993,895 firm-fixed-price contract for Flight Information Publications.  Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on July 22, 2003, and four bids were received.  The National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (NMA100-03-D-0001).

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Civil Air Patrol, Inc., Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., is being awarded a $5,448,000 contract modification to provide for Furtherance of the non-combat missions of the Air Force, including but not limited to: search and rescue, disaster relief, aerial damage assessment, airlift, counter drug, drug demand reduction, Civil Air Patrol cadet program and aerospace education.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete September 2004.  Te Air Education Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-00-2-0001 P00043).
