U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND
Eagle Industries, Fenton, Mo., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a potential maximum value of $8,405,960 for the purchase of quick release vests compatible with the Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirement (SPEAR) Body Armor Load Carriage System (BALCS) in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command's Program Executive Officer for Special Programs. The work will be performed out of Fenton, Mo., and delivery orders may be issued from Dec. 8, 2003, to Dec. 7, 2008. This contract was awarded as a fully competed 100 percent small business set aside. The contract number is H92222-04-D-0002.
Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,451,029 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-01-C-5306) to exercise an option for repair and maintenance work in support of the Standard Missile (SM-2), guided missile program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,665,953 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-03-C-0131) to exercise an option for the procurement of 25 Ai7 Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Block II wiring kits, 10 CASS Block III wiring kits, 35 instrumentation kits, 35 site installations, license fees and technical data. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed in November 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,241,899 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for post-production support for the AV-8B Harrier Program, including engineering and technical support services, sustaining engineering, configuration management and integrated logistics support. In addition, engineering and technical support services will be provided to the AV-8B Harrier Joint Project Office for unique Italian Navy AV-8B tasks. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed in November 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $4,648,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
