CONTRACTS

 

AIR FORCE

 

     Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $49,718,862 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for production of a quantity of 1,044 AGM-65 H and K guidance control sections.  At this time, $45,599,826 of the funds has been obligated.  Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete by December 2005.  Negotiations were completed December 2003.  Headquarters Odgen Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8213-04-C-0007).

 

     The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $8,550,000 firm-fixed-price contract modification.  This contract exercises the sustaining engineering (calendar year 2004) option; satellite 2 launch services; and August, September and October 2005 option for the WideBand Gapfiller Satellite Program.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by October 2005.  Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-00-C-0011, P00080).

 

     AIL Systems Inc., Lancaster, Calif., is being awarded a $7,787,292 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 102 AN/PLM-4 (V3) single container advanced radar simulators.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by November 2004.  Headquarters Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-01-D-0079-0011).

 

NAVY

 

     Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $30,117,674 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to exercise an option under previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-2901) for installation planning and manufacturing of long lead time material for the conversion of Ohio Class SSBN submarines to Ohio Class SSGN submarines.  Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (21 percent); Norfolk, Va. (19 percent); and Quonset, R.I. (60 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

     Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $24,000,000 fixed-ceiling-price, definite-delivery/definite-quantity contract for the procurement of quick engine change kits.  Work will be performed at Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by October 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00383-00-G-027B-5441)

 

     Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $6,365,500 firm-fixed-price contract for the restoration of 4 (each) AN/SLQ-32 systems.  Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity. (N00164-04-G-8W01)

 

     Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $6,315,238 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N00019-03-C-0056) for the full rate production of integrated multi-platform launch controllers for the AN/ALE-50 (V) countermeasures decoy dispensing set installed on F/A-18E/F, F-16 and B-1B aircraft.  Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif., and is expected to be completed in August 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

     Cercom Inc., Vista, Calif., is being awarded a $17,411,500 firm-fixed-price type of contract for small arm protective inserts for the Army.  Work will also be performed in Camarillo, Calif.  Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 31, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There was one proposal solicitation, and one responded.  The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-04-C-4040).

 

     The Merchants Co., Hattlesburg, Miss., is being awarded a $12,200,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity contract for full line food distribution for the Army, Navy, Air Force and federal civil agencies. Work will also be performed in Jackson, Miss.  Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 25, 2004.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 30 proposals solicited, and five responded.  The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-04-D-3018).
