CONTRACTS

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $302,100,000 firm-fixed-price/cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification.  This undefinitized contractual action is in support of F/A-22 long lead activities including diminishing manufacturing sources; performance based agile logistics support, producibility improvement program efforts from January 1, 2004 through Feb. 29, 2004.  At this time, $124,400,000 of the funds has been obligated.  The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Marietta Ga. (33%), Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas (35%), and The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (32%).  This work will be completed by February 2004.  The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is the contracting activity (F33657-02-C-0010, P0009).

 

            Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $65,200,000 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for F/A-22 program support and annual sustaining for Period G, Jan. 1, 2004 through Feb. 29, 2004.  At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated.  The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Marietta Ga. (33%), Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas (35%), and The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (32%).  This work will be completed by February 2004.  The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is the contracting activity (F33657-02-C-0010, P0009).

 

            The Boeing Co., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $20,800,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract, and Lockheed Martin, King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a $20,785,675 cost-plus fixed-fee contract.  The GPS III Phase A acquisition is to select up to two contractors to competitively mature GPS III requirements for a successful system requirements review in support of key decision Point B acquisition milestone.  At this time, $10,330,000 of the funds has been obligated.  Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.  This work will be complete by December 2005.  Solicitation began September 2003 and negotiations were completed December 2003.  The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8807-04-C-0002, 0001).

 

NAVY

 

            Northrop Grumman Corp., Integrated Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $10,171,872 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-01-C-0041) to exercise an option for 27 BQM-74E aerial targets, 13 extended range BQM-74E aerial targets, and 150 radar altimeters.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (38%); Walled Lake, Mich. (16%); Palmdale, Calif. (14%); Elmira, N.Y. (11%); Woodland Hills, Calif. (9%); Mandaree, N.D. (6%); Santa Monica, Calif. (6%), and is expected to be completed in July 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
