CONTRACTS

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Pratt and Whitney Military Aftermarket Services, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $9,355,376 firm fixed price contract to provide for engine upgrade, of F100-PW-200/220E configuration, 8 each for the Royal Jordan Air Force.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by July 2004.  Solicitation began June 2003 and negotiations were completed September 2003.  The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8104-04-C-0012).

 

            Johns Hopkins University, Laurel, Md., is being awarded a $5,844,156 indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to provide for technical analysis and systems engineering support for capabilities-based technical analysis and systems engineering for the airborne electronic attack “system of systems” concept development and other Air Force electronic warfare projects as required.  Basic three-year effort: 39,966 estimate person hours (as authorized by individual tasks orders) delivery orders 0001: 1,744 estimated person hours; delivery orders 0002: 1,456 estimated person hours.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount.  No funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by December 2007.  Solicitation began November 2003 and negotiations were completed December 2003.  The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8626-04-D-2063).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            Ashland Distribution Company, Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded $9,719,987 fixed price with economic price adjustment type of contract for fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Maryland, Alabama, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, and California.  Performance completion date is expected to be January 2005.  Contract funds will expire this fiscal year.  There were 10 solicitations offered through Federal Business Opportunities on-line and two responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-04-D-0750).
