CONTRACTS

 

ARMY

 

            Honeywell International Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded on Jan. 20, 2004, an $114,720,502 firm-fixed-price contract for CH-47 T-55-714A engines and fielding kits.  Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz. (50%) and Greer, S.C. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 13, 2003.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-C-0061).

 

            Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Company L.L.C., Independence, Mo., was awarded on Jan. 20, 2004, a delivery order amount of $69,182,458 as part of a $70,145,094 firm-fixed-price contract for 7.62mm small caliber ammunition.  Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were two bids solicited on July 30, 1999, and two bids were received.  The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            William Gateway Airport Authority (set-aside, city owned), Meza, Ariz., is being awarded $10,265,944 fixed price with economic price adjustment for fuel for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  Performance completion date is expected to be March 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire this fiscal year.  There were 133 proposal solicitations and one responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va.  (SP0600-04-D-0067)

 

            AIR BP, Warrenville, Ill., is being awarded $9,291,459 fixed price with economic price adjustment for fuel for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  Performance completion date is expected to be March 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire this fiscal year.  There were 133 proposal solicitations and one responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-04-D-0064)
