            United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $19,620,700.66 firm fixed price contract to provide for Blade Set, Turbine, quantity:  26,141 sets, applicable to the F100-220/220E engine.  This engine is applicable to the F-15 and F-16 aircraft.  Total funds have been obligated.  Solicitation began November 2003 and Negotiations were completed December 2003.  The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-01-G-0006-0714).


            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $49,122,341 firm fixed price contract modification.  This effort is an option exercise for the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) program.  The option shall acquire LAIRCM systems for C-17 aircraft and C-130 aircraft as well as associated engineering support, spares and data.  The LAIRCM system is designed to detect and defeat enemy infrared surface to air missiles.  Locations of performance are at Northrop Grumman, Rolling Meadows, Ill. and BAE Systems Avionics Limited, Ferry Road, Silverknowes, Edinburgh, Scotland.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by February 2006.  The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2093, P00043).




            Advanced Technologies Group Inc.*, Stuart, Fla., is being awarded a not to exceed $25,000,000 Phase III, Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program contract for Topic N00-005 entitled “Reverse Rotation Capable Brush Seal Design.”  The contractor will provide services and materials for engineering tasks including research and development, prototype development and fabrication, demonstration/validation, product development services, product application studies and modeling, fabrication/production of hardware, software design, software development and fabrication, retrofitting developed products into existing air and sea-based platforms and in-service engineering pertaining to the development of improved gas turbine seals for military aircraft turbine engines.  Work will be performed in Stuart, Fla., and is expected to be completed in January 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured using SBIR Program Solicitation under Topic N00-005 and six offers were received.  The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J. is the contracting activity (N68335-04-D-0006).


            Digital System Resources Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $6,571,410 cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5439) for 43,037 hours of systems integrator efforts in support of the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program.  The systems integrator efforts are to provide recommendations for improvements to the existing electronic warfare (EW) system and integrate latest technologies to improve EW capabilities.  All efforts will be incrementally funded and direction provided by technical instructions throughout the period of performance.  Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed by January 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
