NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $25,790,000 ceiling-priced undefinitized contract action for initial full rate production activities to protect the delivery schedule for the advanced mission computers and displays that will be integrated into F/A-18 E/F Lot 28 aircraft. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn, (65 percent); Albuquerque, N.M. (20 percent); and St. Louis, Mo. (15 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0015).

Harkins Builders, Inc., Marriottsville, Md., is being awarded a $19,650,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of family housing at Midway Park, Camp Lejeune, N.C. The work to be performed provides for the demolition of 161 two-bedroom single and duplex townhouse units, and the design and construction of 161 two-bedroom single and duplex townhouse units. Work will be performed in Camp Lejuene, N.C., and is expected to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contact was competitively procured with 100 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-02-C-2093).

Tidewater Skanska, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $14,459,000 firm-fixed price contract for renovation of a small craft basin at Naval Station, Norfolk, Va. The work includes demolition of pier CEP-168 and pier LAG-57, the small boat basin relieving platform, wooden pier, floating piers, underground utilities, bituminous and concrete pavement, perform dredging of basin, construction of bulkhead, relieving platform, floating piers, boat house, parking areas, underground utilities and incidental related work. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia and is expected to be completed by May 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 82 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-03-C-3066).

Sparton Electronics Florida, Inc., De Leon Springs, Fla., is being awarded a $6,654,418 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for scientific, engineering and technical support services for the repair, testing, inspection, replacement, modification and maintenance of high gain array stave components for the submarine acoustic signatures maintenance program in support of NAVSEA radiated noise trials. Work will be performed in De Leon Springs, Fla., and is expected to be completed by March 1, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a sole source procurement. The Naval Service Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), is the contracting activity (N00167-04-D-0024).

ARMY

Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems, Sealy, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for rebuilding of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles A0 and A1 configurations. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 12, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 5, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-C-0260).

Manson Construction Co., Seattle, Wash., was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a $5,620,000 increment as part of a $13,642,400 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of Port of Anchorage. Work will be performed in Anchorage, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were five bids solicited on Dec. 19, 2003, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Anchorage, Alaska, is the contracting activity (W911KB-04-C-0007).

Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems, Sealy, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a $5,310,362 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 40 medium tactical vehicles, 16 5-ton cargo vehicles, and 24 2.5-ton cargo vehicles. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb 28, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 2, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-98-C-M005).

Honeywell International Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a delivery order amount of $5,148,063 as part of a $22,084,739 firm-fixed-price contract for 27 left/right improved master controller processor units for the Kiowa OH-58D aircraft. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 14, 2001. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-01-D-0306).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a $3,000,000 increment as part of a $17,426,614 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for future fire control systems for the Multiple-Launch Rocket System M270 launcher with an electronic launcher drive system. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 20, 2003. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-04-C-0053).

Alro Machine Co.*, Lindenhurst, N.Y., was awarded on Feb. 12, 2004, a delivery order amount of $2,228,130 as part of a $6,397,965 firm-fixed-price contract for 6,449 spare parts. Work will be performed in Lindenhurst, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 20, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 14 bids solicited on Jan. 20, 2003, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-D-0088).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Owens & Minor, Glen Allen, Va., is being awarded $192,000,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for medical surgical prime vendor for all military forces, federal civilian agencies and the Coast Guard. Work will also be performed in Georgia, Alabama, New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, Maryland, Virginia, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Performance completion date is expected to be Oct. 31, 2006. Contract funds will expire this fiscal year. There were approximately 40 proposal solicitations and five responded. Cardinal Health 200, Inc., McGaw Park, Ill., is being awarded $192,000,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for medical surgical prime vendor for all military forces, federal civilian agencies and the Coast Guard. Arch Chemicals, Inc., Lake Charles, La., is being awarded $11,892,720 firm-fixed-price type of contract for high purity hydrazine for the Department of Defense. Performance completion date is expected to be Jan. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire this fiscal year. This was a web proposal solicitation and one responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Lackland AFB, Texas (SP0600-04-D-1520).

Atlas Aero Corp.*, Merident, Conn., is being awarded $6,304,636 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for parts and support to various helicopters for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Performance completion date is expected to be Feb. 5, 2005. Contract funds will not expire this fiscal year. There were two proposal solicitations and one responded.
