DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), Safat, Kuwait, was awarded a $79,881,091 fixed price with economic price adjustment type of contract for gasoline and diesel fuel for the country of Iraq on March 15, 2004. Work will also be performed at the Subhan and Ahmadi fuel depots. The solicitation was advertised on the World Wide Web and closed with 15 offers. Performance period begins April 1, 2004, the completion date is expected to be June 30, 2004. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-04-D-0491).

Shaheen Business and Investment Group, Amman, Jordan, was awarded a $71,831,883 fixed price with economic price adjustment type of contract for gasoline and diesel fuel for the country of Iraq on March 15, 2004. The solicitation was advertised on the World Wide Web and closed with 15 offers. Performance period begins April 1, 2004, the completion date is expected to be June 30, 2004. Altanmia Commercial Marketing Co, W.L.L., Sharq, Kuwait, was awarded a $39,942,806 firm-fixed-price type of contract for transport of gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel for the country of Iraq on March 15, 2004. Work will be performed in Southern Iraq. The solicitation was advertised on the Federal Business Opportunities Web site and closed with 19 offers. Performance period begins April 1, 2004, the completion date is expected to be June 30, 2004. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-04-D-0492).

U.S. Foodservice, La Mirada, Calif., is being awarded a $20,000,000 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type of contract for prime vendor for Navy ships for the U.S. Navy. This was a web solicitation. Performance completion date is expected to be March 16, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-04-D-3051).

NAVY

BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $14,112,284 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee term contract (N00421-01-C-0169) to exercise an option for engineering and technical services for life cycle support of communication-electronic (C-E) equipment supporting the Special Communications Requirements Division at the Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md. The estimated level of effort for this option is 278,000 man-hours. Work will be performed in California, Md. (62 percent); Fayetteville, N.C. (12 percent); Chesapeake, Va. (8 percent); San Diego, Calif. (7 percent); Ft. Bliss, Texas (4 percent); Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. (2 percent); Panzer Kaserne, Germany (2 percent); Puerto Rico (2 percent), and Tampa, Fla. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Raytheon, Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $7,999,996 increment of a $8,300,000 modification to a previously awarded other transaction for prototypes agreement for the fourth demonstration of the Future Combat Systems Communications program. Work will be performed in Fullerton, Calif. (38 percent), Falls Church, Va. (36 percent), Cedar Rapids, Iowa (11 percent), Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. (10 percent), San Diego, Calif. (4 percent), and Centerport, N.Y. (1 percent), and will be completed in November 2004. Funds will not expire at the end of this fiscal year. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the contracting activity (MDA972-01-9-0022).

AIR FORCE

Woodward FST, Zeeland, Mich., is being awarded a $5,665,800 firm fixed price contract to provide for spray ring assembly, 284 each, applicable to F100-PW-220 engine. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by April 2005. Solicitation began January 2004 and negotiations were completed March 2004. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8104-04-C-0072).
