CONTRACTS

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Inc., Defense Mission Systems, Reston, Va., is being awarded a $48,509,207 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for tactical and non-tactical computer engineering and technical support for displays and peripherals for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Combat Direction Systems Activity (NAVSEA CDSA), Dam Neck/Virginia Beach, Va. The effort will include program planning, program management, project engineering, systems design, system integration, technical support, in-service engineering, installation, provisioning and logistic support of shipboard/shore applications of equipment, and other units assigned to NAVSEA CDSA. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Va. (60 percent); San Diego, Calif. (25 percent); Mayport, Fla. (10 percent); Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (5 percent); and is expected to be completed by April 2009. Funds in the amount of $1,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract will support the Governments of Taiwan (20 percent), Japan (20 percent), Australia (20 percent), Spain (20 percent) and Egypt (20 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The contract was competitively procured and advertised via the Internet, with five offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-04-D-1004).

Canadian Commercial Corp., Ottawa, Canada is being awarded a $10,135,310 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously awarded contract (M67854-01-D-3053) to provide 190,476 pairs of various sized gloves for the Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) program. Work will be performed in Quebec, Canada and is expected to be completed in November 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through full and open competition with 13 offers received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control-Orlando, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $11,114,755 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for 1,677 production phase, wind corrected munitions dispenser, tail kits: 1,650 tail kits (with warranty), 27 tail kits (no warranty). Locations of performance are: Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla. (75 percent) and Lockheed Martin Assembly Services, Americus, Ga. (25 percent). This work will be complete by April 2006. Negotiations were completed by February 2004. The Headquarters Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-03-C-0021, P00008).

Northrop Grumman Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $10,000,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract to provide support for wireless engineering services, research, development, and analysis services, laboratory test bed development, configuration, and testing services for new and emerging technology, prototype equipment, and advanced product solutions, prototype designing, engineering, development, fabrication, and manufacturing services of a lightweight, extended battery life, wearable and/or portable computer systems(s), performance evaluation and testing services under live field environment testing, and software engineering, programming, and testing services in support of the battlefield air operations kit. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. At this time, $3,424,886 of the funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by March 2006. Solicitation began February 2004 and negotiations were completed March 2004. The Air Force Research Lab, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8651-04-D-0178).

EDO Marine and Aircraft Systems, North Amityville, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,348,922 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for 34 production phase bomb rack units for F-16 BRU-57. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by November 2005. Solicitation began September 2003 and negotiations were completed November 2003. The Headquarters Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-00-C-0026, P00019).
