CONTRACTS

NAVY

LTM, Inc., Havelock, N.C., is being awarded a $16,171,694 not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-01-D-0101) to exercise an option for approximately 353,600 hours of maintenance planning and design interface technical/management support services for the Naval Air Depot (NADEP), Cherry Point, N.C. These services include evaluating initial designs, evaluating proposed design changes, maintenance planning and sustaining maintenance plans. Work will be performed at NADEP Cherry Point, N.C. (99 percent), and at various locations across the United States (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in April 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Hydraulics International, Inc., Chatsworth, Calif., is being awarded a $7,899,327 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-99-C-0167) to exercise an option for the procurement of 82 Second Generation 20mm Linkless Ammunition Loading Systems (LALS II) consisting of Ammunition Loaders and Ammunition Replenishers for the U. S. Air Force. Work will be performed in Chatsworth, Calif., and is expected to be completed in September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.

McLaughlin Research Corporation, Middletown, R.I., is being awarded a $7,004,590 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with cost plus fixed fee provisions for integrated logistics support and configuration management for submarine electromagnetic systems at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, R.I. Work will be performed in Middletown, R.I. (60 percent) and Newport R.I. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by April 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via Federal Business Opportunity site and three offers were received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-04-D-0006).

ArmorWorks LLC. Tempe, Ariz., is being award a $5,849,655 firm-fixed priced contract for the small arms protective insert, which consists of interchangeable ceramic plates which are inserted into the front and back of the outer tactical vest to increase a Marines capability to defeat small arms rifle fire and indirect flechette protection. Work will be performed in Tempe Ariz., and is expected to be completed by August 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command is the contracting activity. The contract number is M67854-04-C-3075.

ARMY

Thales Raytheon Systems Corp., Fullerton, Calif., was awarded on April 22, 2004, a $30,643,436 firm-fixed-price contract for various spare parts in support of FIREFINDER AN/TPQ-36(V), AN-TPQ-37(V), and AN/TPQ-46. Work will be performed in Fullerton, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 26, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 6, 2004. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15P7T-04-C-L002).

United Defense L.P., Santa Clara, Calif., was awarded on April 23, 2004, a $7,062,040 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for systems technical support and logistics services in support of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS), Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), Foreign Military Sales, and BFVS and MLRS derivative vehicles. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 26, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 28, 2000, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-M011).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Labatt Food Service, Inc.*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded an $8,300,000 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type of contract for full line food distribution for the Army and the Air Force. Performance completion date is expected to be May 7, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of this fiscal year. There were 131 proposal solicitations and two responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-04-D-3006).
