ARMY

Coakley & Williams Construction Inc., Gaithersburg, Md., was awarded on June 18, 2004, a $29,924,594 fixed-price-incentive contract for design and construction of the Pentagon Library and Conference Center. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were four bids solicited on March 9, 2004, and four bids were received. The Pentagon Renovation and Construction Program Office, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (HQ0050-04-C-0006).

James Worldwide Sales Inc.*, Las Vegas, Nev., was awarded on June 18, 2004, a delivery order amount of $8,510,480 as part of an $83,855,433 firm-fixed-price contract for 87, 45-passenger busses and ten manuals for the Iraqi Ministry Civilian Vehicle Support Program. Work will be performed at Fort Valley, Ga., and is expected to be completed by June 17, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 28, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-B010).

United Defense L.P., Santa Clara, Calif., was awarded on June 17, 2004, a $5,000,000 increment as part of a $15,655,682 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for fabrication of structures for the Integrated Survivability Advanced Technology Demonstrator. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on June 10, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-L054).

Intermap Federal Services Inc.*, Englewood, Colo., was awarded on June 18, 2004, a delivery order amount of $4,153,885 as part of a $47,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of interferometric synthetic aperture radar system airborne radar commercial imagery high-resolution radar images, digital surface model, and radar based map products. Work will be performed in Englewood, Colo., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 14, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 8, 2004. The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, Arnold, Mo., is the contracting activity (HM1574-04-D-0003).

Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, Ill., was awarded on June 18, 2004, a delivery order amount of $1,700,750 as part of a $14,141,234 firm-fixed-price contract for four track tractors (Dozer D7) and manuals for the Iraqi Ministry Civilian Vehicle Support Program. Work will be performed in Peoria, Ill., and is expected to be completed by June 18, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 29, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-8930).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Strategic Systems Division, Falls Church, Va. is being awarded a $16,217,757 cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification that will integrate the Air Force Airborne Signals Intelligence Payload (ASIP) tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination capabilities into the Deployable Ground Intercept Facility element. The ASIP Program will build upon the high- band system production configuration unit by adding specific low band functions developed for the current Air Force Special SIGINT System. The ASIP will interface with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System for tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance information. At this time, $9,343,011.50 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by March 2007. Negotiations were completed May 2004. The Headquarters Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-97-D-0009).
