CONTRACTS

NAVY

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $47,074,829 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for 203 Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) family of vehicles. This contract contains task order options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $183,000,000. The work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed January 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract award with Oshkosh Truck Corp. being the sole manufacturer of the MTVR family of vehicles. The Marine Corps Systems Command is the contracting activity (M67854-04-D-5016).

Bell-Boeing Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an $8,712,386 modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive contract (N00019-03-C-6517) to install Wing Auxiliary Tanks and remove Aft Sponson Fuel Tanks on the 9 MV-22 aircraft in Lot 8. It includes non-recurring effort to perform functional testing and convert the Aft Sponson Fuel Tank, supporting provisions, and associated plumbing into their own kit. Work will be performed in Amarillo, Texas, and is expected to be completed in October 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, Mass., is receiving a $6,973,521 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for completion of the TRIDENT II (D5) Backfit conversion of Weapons laboratories at Trident Training Facility (TTF), Bangor upon TRIDENT I (C4) retirement and delivery of the Advanced Development Lab in the Fire Control (FC) Mod 6 configuration. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $17,489,211. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be complete by January 2006. This contract was not competitively procured. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs is the contracting activity (N00030-04-C-0041).

ARMY

General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded on July 2, 2004, a $23,244,655 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for manufacturing technical assistance support. Work will be performed in Cairo, Egypt (82 percent) and Sterling Heights, Mich. (18 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 13, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-C-0504).

Seiler Instrument & Manufacturing Co.*, St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on July 6, 2004, a $5,638,256 firm-fixed-price contract for various fire control spare parts to support the M198 and M119 Howitzers. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on June 16, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52H09-04-C-0177).

AIR FORCE

RehabPlus Staffing Group Inc., Greenbelt, Md., is being awarded a $13,046,473 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for Clinical Social Workers, U.S. licensed registered nurses and Family Advocacy Program staff personnel (46 total employees) to implement the Family Advocacy Program at U.S. Air Force Medical Treatment Facilities at seventeen sites located in the West CONUS again. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. Locations of performance are RehabPlus Staffing Group, Greenbelt, Md. (54 percent), and J&E Associates, Silver Spring, Md. (46 percent). No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by June 2009. Solicitation began May 2004 and negotiations were completed June 2004. The Headquarters 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks City-Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA8901-04-D-0007).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Omniglow Corp., West Springfield, Mass., is being awarded a $6,670,856 firm fixed price with indefinite delivery/quantity type of contract for chemical lights for all U.S. military services and federal civilian agencies. This is a two-year base contract with three one-year options. Performance completion date is expected to be in July 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0500-04-D-0401).
