CONTRACTS

ARMY

BAE Systems Ordnance Systems Inc., Kingsport, Tenn., was awarded on July 29, 2004, a delivery order amount of $26,519,760 as part of a $72,435,493 firm-fixed-price contract for production and supply of 4,419,960 pounds of CXM-7 explosive. Work will be performed in Kingsport, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by July 15, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on June 1, 2004. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-03-D-0007).

Robertson Aviation L.L.C.*, Tempe, Ariz., was awarded on July 29, 2004, a $19,462,733 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 112 AH-64 A/D A Kits, 94 Combo-Pak B Kits, 87 Storage Cradles, 19 Apache Magazine and Auxiliary Tank Transfer Systems, two Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Spares, and six Aviation Unit Maintenance Spares. Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on June 21, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-C-0069).

American Ordnance L.L.C., Middletown, Iowa, was awarded on July 29, 2004, an $11,561,499 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for M795 Additional 132,586 Rounds for Load, Assemble and Pack. Work will be performed in Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 7, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAE30-99-C-1012).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $25,479,137 firm-fixed priced order against a Basic Ordering Agreement for two E-2 upgrade kits for the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Upgrade kits include mission computer upgrade, advanced control indicator set, and navigation upgrades. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla. (35 percent); Bethpage, N.Y. (20 percent); Rolling Meadows, Ill. (20 percent); Woodland Hills, Calif. (15 percent); and Melbourne, Fla. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-04-G-0001).

American Electronic Warfare Associates*, California, Md., is being awarded a $17,365,609 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee/level of effort contract (N00421-03-C-0078) to exercise an option for engineering services for the Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Stimulation Division. The total level of effort for this option period is 174,000 man-hours. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in July 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems and Sensors (LM MS2), Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded an $11,460,326 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5101) for design and configuration of a J5 Japanese Computer Program Test Site (JCPTS) equipment suite for use in computer program testing in Yokosuka, Japan. LM MS2 will design, build, and configure the advanced processing equipment necessary to run the J5 AEGIS Weapon System computer program elements: Aegis Command and Decision (C&D); Aegis Display System; Weapons Control System; and Japanese Functionality (JF). LM MS2 is the sole designer and producer of Japanese Aegis Weapon System Baselines. The purpose of the JF computer program is to manage data between the AEGIS C&D computer program element, the Japanese produced Electronic Warfare System, and Surface-to-Surface Missile System. This modification supports the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Moorestown, NJ, and is expected to be completed by March 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

The Haskell Co., Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded an $8,108,000 firm-fixed contract for design and construction of a vehicle maintenance facility and an aircraft support equipment facility for the Louisiana Air National Guard, and a vehicle maintenance facility for the Air Force Reserves at Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base, New Orleans, La. Work is expected to be complete by November 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with 14 offers received. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-04-C-0085).

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

Computer Sciences Corp., Arlington, Va. is being awarded a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract, HQ0006-04-C-0009 to provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance Support for the Information Office to the Missile Defense Agencys Ballistic Missile Defense Systems Information Office Directorate. The contract has a 12-month base period of performance plus two option years and a potential 3-year contract value of $23,467,247. The Missile Defense Agency is the contracting activity. (HQ0006-04-C-0009).

AIR FORCE

ITT Avionics, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a $10,062,456 firm fixed price, time and material contract modification. This requirement is to increase and exercise the option quantities for the upgrade of the AN/ALQ-172(V)2 Electronic Countermeasures System to the Electronic Countermeasures Improvement configuration on B-52H aircraft. The exercised option requires the delivery of 9 each Group B aircraft install kits, 10 each Group B Line Replacement Unit-1 spares kits, 17 each Group B Line Replacement Unit-4 spares kits, 10 each Group B-Line Replacement Unit-10 spares kits, and repair support incidental to the upgrades. Total funds have been upgraded. This work will be complete by December 2006. The Headquarters Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-03-C-0111, P00011).

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $8,706,979 firm fixed price contract modification. This modification authorizes incorporation of the gun structures, ventilation and sealing change modifications into the Lot 3 Aircraft. This effort supports F/A-22 Aircraft. Locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (67 percent), and at Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas (33 percent). At this time, $4,353,489 of the funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by January 2006.
