Insight Technology Inc., Londonderry, N.H., is being awarded a maximum value $24,999,999 firm fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for 4,165 Thermal Clip-On Night Vision Devices (CNVD-T) and associated data. The CNVD-T is a small, lightweight thermal weapon sight that can be positioned in front of weapons-mounted day optical sights. The CNVD-T allows Special Operations Force operators to transition from day to night or obscured visibility without having to zero a new device to the weapon. Work will be performed in Londonderry, N.H., and is expected to be completed by August 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the worldwide web and eight offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-04-D-4840).

Litton Electro-Optical Systems, Garland, Texas, is being awarded a maximum value $24,999,999 firm fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for 4,165 Clip-On Night Vision Devices (CNVD) and associated data. CNVD is a small, lightweight image intensification device that can be positioned in front of weapons-mounted day optical sights. The CNVD allows Special Operations Force operators to transition from day to night without having to zero a new device to the weapon. Work will be performed in Garland, Texas, and is expected to be completed by August 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the worldwide web and eight offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-04-D-4839).

ST Production Systems Inc.* (a division of SensyTech Inc.), Smithfield, Pa., is being awarded a $10,309,040 production option modification to previously awarded firm fixed price contract (N00024-98-C-6111) in support of the AN/SLQ-25A Torpedo Countermeasure Systems Program. The modification provides for the production, test and delivery of an additional quantity of 11 AN/SLQ-25A torpedo countermeasure transmitting sets and associated Foreign Military Sales (FMS) spares. The AN/SLQ-25A is a digitally controlled, modular design, electro-acoustic soft kill countermeasure decoy system that defends ships against wake homing torpedoes, acoustic homing torpedoes, and wire guided torpedoes. Variants of the AN/SLQ-25A have been offered to select foreign nations as authorized by the Technology Transfer Security Assistance Review Board. This mod combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (77 percent) and the governments of Turkey (1 percent) and Taiwan (22 percent) under the FMS Program. Work will be performed in Smithfield, Pa., and is expected to be completed July 2008. Contracts funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
