Call Henry, Titusville, Fla., is being awarded a $9,000,001 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract modification. The launch operations support contract is the centralized management, operation, maintenance, repair, upgrade, and launch support for critical range and launch facilities and infrastructure supporting range transmitting and receiving sites, launch pads, spacecraft clean rooms, processing facilities, and aerospace ground equipment. The major elements includes cranes, hoists, mechanical systems, pressure vessels, towers, and elevators; operation of Vandenberg power plants and power generators; and on-site support for launch activities such as operating and monitoring the South Vandenberg Power Plant during launch activities. Location of performance is Call Henry Inc., Vandenberg Air Force Base. At this time, $154,304 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2005. Solicitation began August 2003 and negotiations were completed June 2004. The 30th Space Wing is the contracting activity (FA4610-04-C-0004).
