AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $54,157,982 cost-plus award-fee contract modification. This action exercises the 5th option for the Integrated Space Command and Control (ISC2). ISC2 will modernize the command and control (C2) system of North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) into an integrated, interoperable, state of the art capability to support the National Command Authority and the Canadian Chief of Defense Staff for the defense of North America. The C2 system provides warning of ballistic missile, aircraft, space, and information attacks against North America. At this time, $14,113,001 of the funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2008. The Electronic Systems Center, Detachment 5, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity (F19628-00-C-0019, P00058).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Mitchel Field, N.Y., is being awarded a $35,399,639 option effort under previously awarded contract (N00030-04-C-0014) to provide the fiscal year 2005 U.S. and U.K. TRIDENT II (D5) Navigation Subsystem Engineering Services and Repair requirements. Work will be performed in Mitchel Field, N.Y., and is expected to be completed July 2007. Contract funds in the amount of $26,350,005 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navys Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-04-C-0014).

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $14,443,851 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-reimbursement contract for support of the Naval Research Health Center (NHRC) San Diego. This support consists of studies of symptoms, morbidity, hospitalizations, reproductive outcomes, mortality, and other health-related issues among service members and Department of Defense beneficiary populations. This contract contains three, one-year options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $38,182,441. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (88 percent); San Antonio, Texas (10 percent); and Rockville, Md. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2006. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website (under Broad Area Announcement, N66001-04-X-6004) and the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website. Three offers were received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-04-D-2506).

Geo-Centers Inc., Newton Center, Mass. is being awarded a $17,565,655 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-reimbursement contract for support of the Naval Research Health Center (NHRC) San Diego. This support consists of studies of symptoms, morbidity, hospitalizations, reproductive outcomes, mortality, and other health-related issues among service members and Department of Defense beneficiary populations. This contract contains three, one-year options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $44,999,315. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (78 percent); Dayton, Ohio (8 percent); Charleston, S.C. (7 percent); Lanham, Md., (5 percent); and Newton Center, Mass. (2 percent); and is expected to be completed by September 2006. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website (under Broad Area Announcement, N66001-04-X-6004) and the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website. Three offers were received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-04-D-2504).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

SYSCO Foodservice of San Francisco Inc., Fremont, Calif., is being awarded a $7,000,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity type contract for prime vendor food and beverage support services for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Job Corps and U.S. Coast Guard. This contract represents the third one-year option period under contract number (formally SPM300-04-D-3023). Performance completion date is expected to be Oct.10, 2005. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current year. There were 35 proposals solicited and 3 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-05-D-3023)
