Pratt and Whitney Military Aftermarket Services, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $51,853,978 firm fixed price contract to provide for remanufacture of F100-PW-100/200/220/220E engine combustion chambers and PWA 265 application applicable to F-15 and F-16 aircraft. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by October 2008. Solicitation began July 2004 and negotiations were completed September 2004. Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems Corp., Redondo, Calif., is being awarded a $8,969,000 cost-plus award-fee contract modification. The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is currently on contract to develop and deliver an on-orbit Space Based Space Surveillance (SBSS) Pathfinder satellite. This change order incorporates design change critical to the development, launch and operation of the SBSS system. The award will be made to NGMS as a change order to an existing contract. At this time, $36,000 of the funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by June 2007. Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,504,089 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-01-C-5306) to exercise an option for repair and maintenance work in support of the Standard Missile (SM-2) guided missile program. The modification exercises option sub-line item (SLIN) 0016AA, in support of Depot Level Maintenance Facility efforts. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
AM General Corp., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on Oct. 19, 2004, a $6,887,363 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 87 M1116 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).
