CONTRACTS

ARMY

The Boeing Co. / McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, Ariz., was awarded on Nov. 1, 2004, a $63,938,710 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for technical, engineering, and logistical support services and material. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 27, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-C-0203).

ITT Federal Services International Corp., Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded on Oct. 29, 2004, a delivery order amount of $20,354,256 as part of a $218,831,731 firm-fixed-price contract for the maintenance, storage, and repair of Army Prepositioned Stock and Department of Defense Military Equipment. Work will be performed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and Esa-Iz, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 13, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on March 12, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-05-D-0003).

Guyco Inc., Lampasas, Texas, was awarded on Nov. 1, 2004, a $12,157,790 firm-fixed-price contract for upgrade of HVAC Systems. Work will be performed at Fort Polk, La., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 20, 2004, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (W9126G-04-C-0041).

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Md., was awarded on Nov. 1, 2004, a $7,000,000 increment as part of a $43,941,930 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for performance-based contractor logistical support of the SHADOW Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System. Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 30, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-05-C-0014).

Ruta Supplies*, Dover, N.Y., was awarded on Nov. 1, 2004, a delivery order amount of $853,768 as part $7,863,434 firm-fixed-price contract for 87,262 Propeller Shafts for the High Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. Work will be performed at Dover, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 9, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 15, 2004, and six bids were received. The Wornick Co.*, McAllen, Texas, is being awarded a $33,735,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment / indefinite quality type contract for meals ready to eat for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. This contract has a base year and two one-year options. Performance completion date is expected to be March 31, 2005. Contract funds will expire at end of current fiscal year. AT&T Wireless Service, Beltsville, Md., is being awarded an estimated $20,000,000 multiple award, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity requirements contract to provide nationwide commercial cellular phone service for the Navy regions under Commander, Naval Installations as well as other CONUS Navy activities. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative estimated value of this contract to $100,000,000. Work will be performed in the continental United States including Alaska and Hawaii, and is expected to be completed September 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via Navy Electronic Commerce Online and the Federal Business Opportunities websites with nine offers received. BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc., Information and Electronic Warfare Systems, Pomona, Calif., is being awarded a $6,613,343 firm-fixed-price contract for the upgrade of 118 each ALQ-157 Infra-Red Counter Measure systems, to include the retrofit of control power supply P/N 1166133-2 and transmitter assemblies P/N 1166128-2 for the H-46 Helicopter Program. Work will be performed in Pomona, Calif., and is expected to be completed in March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-05-C-0011).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $10,871,845 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for funding Option 5 (Oct. 1, 2004Sept. 30, 2005) for Combined Life-Time Support for select avionic systems on the F-16 Aircraft, including the Modular Mission Computer, for the USAF Common Configuration Implementation Program, European Participating Air Forces, Peace Fenghuang (Taiwan) F-16 Program, and the Peace Xenia III (Greece) Program. Total funds have been obligated ($6,719,095 to USAF, and $4,152,750 to FMS). This work will be complete by September 2005.
