Raytheon Aircraft Co., Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $240,535,650 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for Lot 12 option exercises JPATS T-6A production aircraft Lot 12 (fifty each) for FY2005. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by February 2008. The Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-0022, P00073).

Kaman Dayron, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $9,009,133 firm fixed price contract modification. The fuze munitions unit (FMU)-152/B joint programmable fuze and munitions auxiliary unit (FZU)-55/B were developed under a separate contract in response to CAF/USN 401091-II-A joint operational requirements document for the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), 23 August 1995. The JDAM program is a multi-phase effort to develop, produce, and field accurate, all weather inertial navigation system/Global Positioning System guidance kits for the MK-84 and bomb live unit 109 warheads. The FMU-152/B is also designed to be compatible with the same warheads and systems that employ all variations of the FMU-143 and FMU-139. The FMU-152/B is required to increase the operational flexibility and effectiveness of these weapon systems. The current versions of the joint programmable fuze and FZU-55 are FMU-152A/B and FZU-55A/B, changes with incorporation of engineering change proposal 152AB-E-002R2C1. This action is for procurement of 3,720 additional FMU-152A/B fuzes and FZU-55A/Bs under Option 2 of the contract. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by October 2006. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-98-C-0006, P00055).


The Merchants Company*, Hattiesburg, Miss., is being awarded a $12,200,000 firm fixed price with indefinite-quantity contract for full line food distribution for the Army, Navy, Air Force and federal civilian agencies. Work will be performed in Jackson, Miss. The performance completion date is December 2005. This contract is exercising its third year option. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 proposals solicited with five responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-05-D-3018)


Kellogg Brown & Root Services, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded $6,390,000 for a modification to Task Order 0049 under a cost-reimbursement, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity construction contract for emergency repairs to Breakwater at Lajes Field, Azores. The work to be performed provides for additional repair to the breakwater that protects the petroleum, oil, and lubricants pier facility. Work will be performed at Lajes Field, Azores, and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 44 proposals solicited, three offers received and award made on June 29, 2000. The total contract amount is not to exceed $300,000,000, which includes the base period and four option years. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-00-D-0005).
