Ashland Distribution Co., Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded a $13,652,817 firm price with economic price adjustment contract for inhibitor fuel system icing (FSII) for the Defense Energy Support Center. This commodity is for various locations. The performance completion date is January 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Proposals were solicited on FedBizOpps with one response. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-0750)


Electronic Data Systems Corp., Herndon, Va., was awarded a third option year with a maximum face value of $11,995,131 as part ofthe indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract (MDA210-02-D-0001) for production support, hardware/software support and system improvements for Defense Finance and Accounting Service electronic data management. The aggregate face value of this contract prior to this procurement action was $37,414,353. Work will be performed at DFAS Columbus, Ohio; DFAS Indianapolis, Ind.; DFAS Omaha, Neb.; and DFAS Charleston, S.C. Under this option, work will be performed between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2005. Funding includes capital dollars (nine months of FY 2005 and three months of FY 2006). The DFAS Contracting Services Directorate, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (MDA210-02-D-0001).


Engineered Electric Co. dba Fermont, Bridgeport, Conn., was awarded on Jan. 4, 2005, a $10,598,496 firm-fixed-price contract for 452 model 3116 diesel engines for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles. Work will be performed in Bridgeport, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 15, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Sept. 9, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-C-0175).

Weeks Marine, Covington, La., was awarded on Dec. 23, 2004, a $10,000 increment as part of a $12,496,000 firm-fixed-price contract for Atchafalaya River and Bayous Chene, Boeuf, and Black Maintenance Dredging. Work will be performed in St. Mary Parish, La., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 13 bids solicited on Oct. 18, 2004, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-05-C-0012).


Phoenix Management Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $6,993,182 firm fixed price with time and materials contract to provide for base operating support services at Westover ARB, Mass. At this time, $56,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by February 2006. Solicitation began June 2004 and negotiations were completed December 2004. The Air Force Reserve Command, Warner Robins, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA6606-05-C-0001).
