CONTRACTS

NAVY

Zimmerman Associates Inc.*, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $25,000,000 not-to-exceed, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program contract for Topic N98-043 entitled Advanced Small Synthetic Aperature Radar (SAR) Techniques for Mine and Unexploded Ordnance Detection/Classification. The objective of the topic is to provide a vehicle-mounted radar imaging system capable of imaging very small, buried targets at stand-off ranges. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. and is expected to be completed in January 2006. Contract funds in the amount of $1,059,209 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured using SBIR Program Solicitation under Topic N98-043 and twenty-three offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J. is the contracting activity (N68335-05-D-0008).

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded an $8,687,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee material order under previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-2100) to procure long lead time material for Ships Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) sets for SSGN 727 and SSGN 729 in support of Ohio Class Ship Alterations. Work will take place in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity.

Engineered Arresting Systems Corp., Aston, Pa., is being awarded a $7,131,489 modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-fee contract (N68335-98-C-0225) to exercise an option for the manufacture of 7 M31 Marine Corps Expeditionary Arresting Gear Systems and interim spares/repair parts for Phase II. Work will be performed in Aston, Pa., and is expected to be completed in January 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $24,550,000 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for United States Marine Corps KC130J Weapon System Trainers. The location of performance is CAE USA Inc., Tampa, Fla. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by March 2007. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-0044, P00034).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

DJ Manufacturing Corp., Caguas, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $7,794,150 firm fixed price contract for military clothing for the U.S. Army. The estimated performance completion date is August 9, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Four proposals were solicited with three responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-05-C-04037)
