CONTRACTS

NAVY

National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $586,266,939 fixed-price-incentive options under previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-2300) for the design and construction of the seventh and eighth ships in the Dry Cargo/Ammunition Ship (T-AKE) Class. The Dry Cargo/Ammunition Ship will provide logistic lift from sources of supply and will transfer this cargo at sea to station ships and other naval forces. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2008 for the seventh ship and July 31, 2008 for the eighth ship. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Keyport, Wash., is being awarded a $78,705,614 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-6101) for fiscal year 2005 consolidated MK48 and MK54 torpedo hardware and associated engineering and repair services. Work will be performed in Keyport, Wash. (90 percent) and Portsmouth, R.I. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification supports requirements for the U.S. Navy (90 percent) and Royal Australian Navy (10 percent), under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Space and Airborne Systems, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $42,442,948 ceiling-priced cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for F/A-18 Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) special test equipment and factory test equipment to support organic depot capability. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed in December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-05-C-0133).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a $8,860,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification. This modification is to make the Navstar Global Positioning System Block IIR Program compatible with Selected Availability Anti-Spoofing Module end use requirements and to define the Space Vehicle to Control Segment interface requirements. At this time, $4,430,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by May 2006. The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (04701-89-C-0073, P00311).

ARMY

Reema Consulting Services Inc.*, Gaithersburg, Md., was awarded on Jan. 10, 2005, a delivery order amount of $1,340,526 as part of an $8,404,238 time and materials contract for Administrative Support Services. Work will be performed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. (60 percent) and Alexandria, Va. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on May 10, 2004, and nine bids were received. The U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command Acquisition Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-05-D-0004).
