CONTRACTS

ARMY

The Boeing Co., Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on Jan. 14, 2005, a delivery order amount of $194,426,730 as part of a $223,494,862 fixed-price-incentive contract for Remanufacture of 12 CH-47 Aircraft to the MH-47G Configuration. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 28, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Applied Technology Directorate, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-G-0023).

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Md., was awarded on Jan. 13, 2005, a $14,421,828 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for one SHADOW Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System and Associated Support Equipment. Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 27, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-0024).

Structural Associates Inc.*, Watertown, N.Y., was awarded on Jan. 13, 2005, a $12,971,600 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Constant Pressure Hydrant Fueling System. Work will be performed at Langley Air Force Base, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 15, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 70 bids solicited on Sept. 9, 2004, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (W91236-05-C-0032).

FN Manufacturing Inc., Columbia, S.C., was awarded on Jan. 18, 2005, a $6,915,141 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 15,300 M249 Short Barrels. Work will be performed in Columbia, S.C., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec.14, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE20-03-C-0100).

NAVY

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $31,924,714 modification to a previously awarded fixed-priced-incentive-fee contract (N00019-99-C-1090) for the production incorporation of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) V-22-0491 for rework of two Lot IV MV-22 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) tiltrotor aircraft to a Block A/B configuration. In addition, this modification provides for the incorporation of ECP V-22-0492 for the installation of Nacelle Clamshell doors into MV-22 aircraft D0038. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (42 percent); Ridley Park, Pa. (30 percent); and Amarillo, Texas (28 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $5,500,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level of effort modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-1-C-2900) for efforts in association with operation of the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department, Naval Submarine Base, New London. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $5,500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Groton, Conn., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $17,046,528 firm fixed price contract to provide for AGM-65 H/K Maverick Missile Guidance Control Section. Quantity: 447 total. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by January 2007. Negotiations were completed January 2005. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0137).

Civil Air Patrol, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., is being awarded a $5,955,000 Cooperative Agreement contract modification to increase funding for FY05 Civil Air Patrol Aircraft procurement funds as authorized by the FY05 DoD Appropriations Act, P.L. 108-87, Section 8028 (a) (2). Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2006. The 42nd Air Base Wing, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., is the contracting activity (F41689-00-2-0001, A00022).
