CONTRACTS

NAVY

DCS Corp.*, Alexandria, Va., is being awarded an estimated $99,792,823 cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide weapons and systems integration support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Divisions integrated product teams and weapons support facilities, and their associated weapons. The estimated level of effort is 1,705,500 man-hours. Work will be performed in China Lake, Calif. (90 percent), and Pt. Mugu, Calif. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2010. This contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposals as a 100 percent Small Business Set-aside; two offers were received. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-05-D-0002).

Northrop Grumman Defense Missions Systems, Inc., Reston, Va., is being awarded a $47,961,474 cost-plus-award-fee contract for continued development, integration, maintenance, and support of the Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M). GCCS-M is a single, integrated, scaleable Command Control, Computer, and Intelligence (C3I) system that receives, displays, correlates, fuses and maintains geo-locational track information on friendly, hostile, and neutral land, sea and air forces and integrates it with available intelligence and environmental information. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (45 percent); West Conshohocken, Pa. (35 percent); McLean, Va. (15 percent); and Newport News, Va. (5 percent); and is expected to be completed in January 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines support between the U.S. Navy and the Government of Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, and New Zealand under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-05-C-0013).

Todd Pacific Shipyard Corp., Seattle Division, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $28,727,735 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-04-C-4152, in support of repairs and alterations performed during the Dry-Docked Planned Incremental Availability (DPIA) of the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The purpose of this contract is to provide year round maintenance to maximize ship readiness. The contract facilitates modification and repair of ships systems, shipboard equipment, and ship hull preservation. Work will be performed in Bremerton, Wash., and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Wash., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Aircraft Co., Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $59,003,241 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for Lot XII option exercise. JPATS T-6A Production Aircraft Lot XII (6 each) FY05, Technical Manual Updates, Technical Manual Reviews, Operational Flight Trainer (3 each), Instrument Flight Trainer (3 each), Unit Training Device (2 each), Management Information System (MIS) Administration, Ejection Set Trainer, Egress Procedures, Data, Storage Article #615, six engineers, 3 Logistical, 2 Ground Base Training Systems, and Functional Check-Flight Training. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by February 2008. The Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-0022, P00081).

SRI International, Menlo Park, Calif., is being awarded a $12,000,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract. This item is to procure software. The objective of this effort is to develop COORDINATORs software; an intelligent computational system to help field human units to adapt their mission plans online in response to change. At this time, $3,000,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by February 2009. Solicitation began June 2004. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (FA8750-05-C-0033).

Rutter Rex Inc. *, Metairie, La., is being awarded a maximum amount of $28,650,480 firm fixed price indefinite delivery/quantity contract for combat uniform coats and trousers for the U.S. Army. Work will also be performed in Columbia, Miss., and Tylertown, Miss. The estimated performance completion date is June 7, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. ARMY

American Ordnance L.L.C., Middletown, Iowa, was awarded on Feb. 4, 2005, a $15,370,144 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to load, assemble, and pack M231 and M232 Propelling Charge Increments. Work will be performed in Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 3, 2004, and four bids were received.
