CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Earth Tech, Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $4,000,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for: work plan implementation, construction and engineering activities; repair bulk storage tanks 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32; remedy site conditions IAW technical and regulatory requirements; and handling all hazardous materials and waste IAW local requirements. The Air Force can issue deliver orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. This work will be complete by October 2006. Solicitation began November 2004 and negotiations were completed February 2005. The Headquarters 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks-City Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA8903-04-D-8671).

Alutiiq Manufacturing Contractors L.L.C.*, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on Feb. 17, 2005, a $14,251,739 firm-fixed-price contract for installation of temporary relocatable buildings/facilities. Work will be performed at Fort Lewis, Wash., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 26, 2005. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (W9124Q-04-G-0079).

W.G. Yates and Sons Construction Co., San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 18, 2005, an $11,862,500 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a new Border Patrol station. Work will be performed in Eagle Pass, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 338 bids solicited on Sept. 9, 2004, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (W9126G-05-C-0007).

M7 Aerospace L.P.*, San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 17, 2005, a $10,000,000 increment as part of a $309,208,348 firm-fixed-price contract for 43 C-23 Sherpa aircraft. Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 18, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-C-0124).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on Feb. 18, 2005, an $8,795,627 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 13 launchers for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas (15 percent) and East Camden, Ark. (85 percent), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 13, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-0005).

NAVY

Digital System Resources, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $10,729,800 cost-plus-incentive-fee/award-fee modification under previously awarded contracts (N00024-04-C-6205) for multi-purpose processor (MPP) system production. The MPP is a major sonar subsystem under the Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A-RCI) program that enables submarines to process data collected by towed and hull arrays. The contractor will produce a total of six MPP Systems and associated spares. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. (90 percent) and Pittsfield, Mass. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Company, Marlborough, Mass., is being awarded a $9,359,563 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00039-04-D-0033) for professional services including engineering and technical services required during the planning, development, implementation, installation, maintenance, repair, and test and evaluation in support of the Submarine high data rate system, including mast group and test station. Work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass., and is expected to be completed by February 2008. Contract funds in the amount of $4,679,782, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity.

MDS-Cartwright Electronics, Inc. Fullerton, Calif., is being awarded a $5,057,665 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for soft impact location capability angle of incidence subsystems. Work will be performed in Fullerton, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised via the Internet, with seven offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-05-C-0242).
